The fort is still really creepy. No traps though when he investigates. Although sometimes he sees a flash of blue out the corner of his eyes.

Kaiser has piled six ignots of gold on the table. He turns to Dalia.

"S-should we s-sell it?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Huh? Of course we should sell it! What else are you going to do with it?"

"...H-hoard it? H-how do you s-sell gold? Just walk into a bank and f-fling it at them?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"I dunno. But I think that people will get suspicious if we sell them as is. I think we need to make them into rings or something first." Dalia has no idea what she's talking about, but that doesn't mean that she can't sound completely confident.

Kaiser creates a few dozen beautiful gold rings, with impossibly intriticate designs.

"B-better?"

She picks one up and inspects it, trying to not let her mouth open in awe. Eventually she puts it back down to join the others, "Better. Much better. Seems like kinda a shame to sell them if they're just going to get melted down though..."

"I-I g-guess we could sell them to a j-jewelery shop..."

"Yeah. They look really good, I'm sure that somebody would want to buy them if we look around. Um... Except we kinda have a party to set up..."

Bartimaeus shrugs and looks around more.

Kaiser blushes a little at the complement.

"Ah, thanks. I d-don't know much about party p-planning...and I'm nearly out of money..."

Kaiser looks a little sad, and starts sorting the rings by quality.

Still nothing that denotes it as dangerous. It would seem Sanguine is working hard to make sure that this stays under lock and key. But not trap minion.

Dalia has a bit of a gleam in her eyes. "Then we'll sell off some of these rings, and buy supplies for the party. And maybe a little something for ourselves."
