Kaiser finally realised he's fucked up, stands up, and tries to go after her. Then she walks back in, due to time bubble. He tries not to laugh, letting out a little squeak.

"I g-guess I am an idiot, then. An i-idiot...with friends. And you-"

Kaiser stops the train of thought right there and turns around too.

Dalia snarks, "You've got that right, monsieur imbécile." Obviously she's ignoring Bartimaeus now.

Kaiser throws a metal ball at Bartimaeus.

"Well...w-whatever then!"

"That's your comeback? Sounds pretty lame."

"T-that wasn't...a g-good comeback e-either."

"At least it was an actual comeback and not some lame thing."

"Yeah..." After a while she starts giggling again.

Kaiser starts laughing, and turns his chair back around.

Dalia does the same. "Well, that was stupid."

Kaiser continues laughing.

"Yeah, like us. W-we're both stupid, ha ha ha."

Dalia giggles instead of laughing. "Yep. I guess you could say that."
