Dalia also goes to grab the last cookie, but is too slow. She pouts and takes her misery out on Aedan instead. "That still doesn't make it better. He's still torturing someone for his amusement. Normal people don't do that kind of stuff. Period."

Kaiser goes to give her the cookie, but greed gets the better of him. He breaks it in half and offers her the unchewed half.

"T-that is just...disturbing. And concerning."

Which she gratefully accepts. Until she remembers that she's supposed to be embarrassed that he's here, at which point she mumbles an apology and hurriedly eats her cookie half so that she can look away before her cheeks get too red.

Sarcastic? Clearly he does not know Icarus well. Remember kids, when you are commiting brutal slaughter against almost chanceless guys that just happen to be on the wrong side, what matters is that you have funw hile doing it, else it's just grim.

In fact he's still confused about how the machine-girl knew his name at all to call for his stop.

((Side question: How come every plotline seems to have to do with the Void? Or at the very least, every 'end-of-the-world' plotline? Why can't there be some Creation dudes that have the means and the motivation to effectively end life as we know it? Maybe one of them's actually trying to cause a meta vacuum instability event or something.))

((For that matter, there should be more plots where the people trying to kill the PCs aren't trying to end the world, they're just, ya know. In the way and/or trying to kill the PCs and/or trying to end something smaller than the world. Maybe someone decides they don't like Kyle's castle, for example. Those plots are also a lot more dramatic since the PCs can fail without the game ending, thus meaning there is, in fact, a chance at failure(Kyle losing his castle does not end the game >.> Though he would be sad)))
