Spensir doesn't respond at first, slumped against the wall on both feet. His armor is spider-webbed with cracks, and chunks are missing around the flank and chest. The armor seems almost as if it's trying to grow and repair itself, but is too weak to do so, as it strains to fillthe gaps. Steam rises from various locations around the armor and his skin, or perhaps smoke. Blood trails down from the deepest cracks and dents, and as they watch, part of the helmet falls away, revealing most of the front and right side of Spensir's face. He seems pained.

"I...I think I might be alright...just...give me a second..."

He tries to control his breathing, a stabbing sensation following every intake of air; he could tell some of his ribs were broken. Jeezus, the first one he'd been prepared for and while it had hurt, it was nothing compared to that second blast, exploding directly in front of his face! It had been like getting hit with a freight train. From 3 different directions at once.

The swordsman staggers away from the wall and, one hand pressed to his side where the flesh was scraped raw and oozing blood, the other tracing the wall for support, he tried to find a way into the skyscraper he knew the shots had come from.
