"... How do you even know that? I don't remember anyone having Sen's prints. And even if someone did, Sen's a demon, she can just change them."

"By looking at them? You know, with my eyes? How else would I identify people? If you pay attention you will notice that even shapeshifters quite commonly revert to their standard-print, and their iris, even if it changes color, reverts to a standard pattern, unless they pay special attention to changing that. I guess it must be some unconscious thing to save time and effort."

"Unless of course you don't have a standard print," Bartimaeus points out.

Bartimaeus proceeds to shapeshift into some kind of... dark abomination with many tentacles.
"Like my choice of clothing, Sen? Pretty swagger."

A portal opens behind Icarus, and Alucard leaps through with what appears to be a tripedal robot. A fiery explosion roars behind them, the flames touching through the portal before Alucard closes it.
"I told you that was a bad idea! But did you listen, nooo! You never listen to my advice because I know that mixing Hyd-"
"Whatever! Uugh, that will be a huge mess."
"We almost died and you're worrying about it making a mess?"

Alucard turns to Icarus and shakes his head.
"You are an idiot, a huge idiot who cannot even mix two chemicals without having your damned flying eyeball bump into the other one and pouring it straight it! Who in this world places a glass beaker of something like that on the shelf above them!?" the robot rants in the voice of what sounds like a 14 year old girl.

 "Yes. Chemistry."

"If making bombs is a form of summoning, then yes."

"We sure fooled him, didn't we Sen?" Bartimaeus asks after shapeshifted back into a normal human.

"I hope your plan to get the artifact does not involve bombs."

Shit..! Iasp, go make sure the prototype is okay,"
Alucard says before opening a portal. The tripedal bot 'IASP' jumps through.

"Come over sometime and I can show you."

Iasp jumps through the portal.
"Good news, it's okay! And there are only minimal damages to the infrastructure!"
Alucard lets out a sigh of relief.
