Ester looks up from her phone and rolls her eyes, "Really? That's the problem? You're here, right? So even if you're just seventeen you still worked hard and stuff to be here, and I think that's kinda cool."

"Would you do the same of a child who cannot help getting into trouble?"

"He also always makes a point of how very very old he is, how many people he assassinated, and just now was about to suicide bomb the living room - he is disqualified as a child."

"That may be true, but there are some who might disagree, and some for whom my age does not matter; I am simply an easier victim than most. But perhaps this school will be different! I have already met some very nice people, after all!"

His face lights up as she smiles this time, hoping the comment was not lost on them. Her accent could do that sometimes. Why couldn't she have been given a gift with language, as well as science?
