Alucard walks in.
 "The end of the month is nearing, everyone, and as such time is running out. I am sending a spy to scout the layout of the research facility. ICARUS, I would like you to formulate a plan of attack, as you are best at," he says before walking out. He rips a portal open to the void gate and summons a gotongi, ordering it to go scout out the Russian research base in Antartica.

In that case, Alucard still sends a gotongi out to scout the base.

The base seems to be shaped like a large, flat dome. There are large poles sticking out of the ice, with security cameras around the perimeter. When the Gotongi gets up to 50 meters close, it disperses. There seems to be a strong anti-void field around the base

Alucard sends Bartimaeus over in the form of a tiny penguin to see if he has better results, mainly in getting within the anti-void field.

Bartimaeus withstands the field, though feels weakened. A gotongi is just maximum weak.

((Would he still be able to shapeshift or teleport?))

Bartimaeus shapeshifts into a small fly and begins to scout around the interior, making a mental map of the layout. If possible, he tries and locates where the anti-void generator is.

It's a base in antarctica, it has no open windows just sitting around.
