"...A-alistair! N-not funny!" Selina locks her door and goes back to bed.

Bartimaeus does so again.

Selina smiles a tiny bit at the sound of jiggling at her door, or the sound of Alistair slamming his door in a huff. Bit confusing.

Bartimaeus locates the fusebox and proceeds to turn everything off and on constantly.

Good thing everything connected to the circuits is turned off at night like EVERY other house. Selina's night light also had a battery, so she never noticed.

((I'm not trying to avoid spookies btw. I am more waiting for something that would work))

Bartmaeus lets out a sigh.

And proceeds to let out a piercing screech.

Selina jumps at that! She quickly wraps a bath robe around herself before going downstairs and looking out the window.

Bartimaeus shapeshifts into a dense fog which covers the floor of the room.

...did someone leave the door open? Selina walks towards it, finding it closed... what was going on?

"Speak thou name, mortal," he speaks in an unknown, deep, and ominous voice.

Someone rings the doorbell.

Bartimaeus creeps some fog out the door crack to see who it is.

It's an equally ominous fog. And Alistair.

"Another mortal it seems..."

"Hush. You're the mortal." The other fog seems to be speaking back.
