Bernhardt nods as the spell begins to weaken.

From what she saw, it was him. Bernhardt killed her, made her bleed, made her die. But why?

"What are these supposed to mean...?"

[PrivateNomad]

 "It is a projection of the future. As in, fragments of actual scenes that may occur soon."

[Projeck37]

"Right..."
Linda seems eerily still.

[PrivateNomad]

 "And I do not know why I am supposed to kill you. Just know that the real me would never hurt you. I.. I don't want to hurt anybody."

[Projeck37]

"So this is your prophecy?"

[PrivateNomad]

 "Unfortunately, yes. And the reason I came to this world."

[SOLDIER First]

"So you're purpose is to kill me... Why?"

[PrivateNomad]

"I'm not quite sure."

[Projeck37]

Linda verbally sighs. Still as a stone.
"I'm sorry for what I have to do, then."
She slugs Bernhardt in the face just enough to knock him out.

[PrivateNomad]

"I know you are," Bernhardt said before she struck him to unconsciousness. She knows that he could have easily dodged her; perhaps he let her.
The spell fades, and Linda finds herself back into the Ryan household, earning a few inquisitive glances as Bernhardt falls to the ground beside her.

Linda grabs a couple things off of a counter and walks out the door. The inside of her visor lights up with a few screens.
"Evac."
"You got it, boss. Where to?"
"You know the place."
Moments later, a boom echoes and Linda's gone.
