USEC remembers that Hakim exists. As such he eventually wanders over to wherever Linda, Bernhardt and the others are. He takes stock of the situation and then lets out a little sigh, before trying to delicately disentangle Linda and Bernhardt. "You have no reason to treat him like this. Let him go."

Kaiser uses the generator and a red, finely cut crystal as a miasmic condenser, draining the misfortune in like a vacuum cleaner and nullifying it.

[4] The miasmic condenser works like a charm, sucking up all of the Misfortune until there's nothing left. Now all that's left to do is travel back to Northsdale and find a healer. Or perhaps deal with George while the opportunity still presents itself?

"Well I also just wanted to grab your collar. It's been awhile since I've had to do that."

Hakim glares at Linda and Bernhardt. "You two have no reason to fight each other so stop it immediately. Linda, put Bernhardt down so that you two can talk like civilized people."

Linda shrugs, letting go of Bernhardt.

Bernhardt dusts off a collar.
 "Ah, you stretched it, he said disappointingly, "A gift from a dear friend... but you probably want to hear the dream, since it must mean something, right?"

((Hilda is now back at the house, since Akroma doesn't want to go through with her plot))

((sorry, there is only so much "abluhbluh we hate the plot, Akroma killed the game" crap I can take before losing interest in a plot. And once interest has been lost, I mean really, GMs know that's time to move on. V3 can slide into obscurity.))

 "We need to speak in private then," he says before his hand glows with cyan light. Suddenly, both of them are whisked away to another world as a small orb is left where they once were.
Linda finds herself in an astral space, surrounded by light with Bernhardt in front of her.
 "You need to stay away from us for some time. Danger is coming, Linda, and it is coming faster than I thought. I don't want you to get hurt when it can be prevented."

"You want me of all people to run from a threat?"
Linda chuckles.
"Why do you want me so protected anyways?"

 "Because if you stay, you are going to die."
