The black flame engulfs Icarus, so much more intense than any of the times before. A blastwave of heat hits Hilda, nearly hseering of the top layer of her hull.

Tears were running down Alice's cheeks now,
"Icarus stop!"

Hilda disembodies her arms into blades which fly forward at Icarus, on both sides. Both with the goal to fly past her to cut Alice free as Hilda moves forward to kick Icarus with a rocket propelled foot.

Hildas limbs are swatted away as Icarus metalic whips lashes forward with a speed that would even be hard to describe for a machine. It must have a mind of it's own, for certain.

"You will not take her away from me."

Hilda sends a wireless directive to her two limbs to continue attempting to free Alice, while Hilda herself morphs part of her chassis of simulacrum into a pair of mechafists, stepping into a defensive stance; guard.

"Right... We need to soak up this energy she's emitting. Got an anti-magic field on here?"

"Yeah, two in the workshop, but we'd need a miasmic condenser... Go get the generator, I think I've got an idea."

"Err.. where's the generator?"

"Back of the lab, make sure you grab the one with the purple crystals in it."

Isaac grabs whatever is needed.

"You think I have never seen your tactics? And you think I'd ever let my sensors off Alice?"


Icarus jumps backwards, in front of Alice, and skewers one of the arms, before unleashing an electric current to run through it. Moments later, the electronics in the arm are fried.
