She elbow nudges her.

Ashley sighs, taking off the kettle from the stove, and pouring herself a glass, dipping a teabag into it.
"Now, if you'd please not be in my human form, I'd kindly appreciate it."

"Okay."
Bartimaeus respectfully and politely follows her wishes, and turns into Araceli.
"I am quite happy for you two, though."

Ashley visibly twitches.
"You're testing my patience, Barti..."

She rolls her eyes before turning into Lizzie and casually sitting in a chair, her leg over her other knee.
 "A shame we've lost so many people trying to defend this world, don't you think?"

"Yes, and I don't appreciate you right now. At all."
Ashley sets down her tea.
Linda is shooting her pistol at a target.
Isaac heads towards the rec center with Kaiser. He seems... in pain, however.

 "Why do you still miss her? She was a traitor."
"Practicing, Linda?"

"I... I don't fucking care."
Ashley sips her tea.
"She was a good friend..."
"Yes, Seer."

 "A good friend who told Anthony all about our weaknesses? What a good friend she must have been."
"A fine shot that was, just like the last twenty."

Icarus suddenly jumps up, as if something startled her. She is staring at Hilda.

"That doesn't mean she wasn't a good friend."
Ashley stands.
"You didn't know her like me."
