An orange tabby cat leaps onto the couch next to Icarus, glances around questioningly, and then speaks:
 "Why is everyone so mopey?"

 "You okay, Icarus?" Hilda asks in a somber tone.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Made by a friend. That's always a treat."

"I guess you're right. So... What's up? I can't do anything later today since I'm heading up to England and all, but I can chat for a bit if that's what you came over for. I know that you didn't show up to talk to Kaiser, after all."

By now Dalia has pretty much finished making Kaiser's omelette, and so serves it up without much fanfare.

"Thanks."

Kaiser takes it without much fanfare either, continuing to glare at Isaac, his fingers tapping on the table.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"See what I mean?" Dalia tries to kick Kaiser in the shins without Isaac knowing and whispers, _{"Can you at least try to be polite to Isaac? I'm not asking you two to be friends or anything, geez. There's no reason for you to hate him this much."}

"Annnyways, speaking of England, remember when you mentioned it before to me and I said I'd go? I meant it... coincidentally, I came to ask when you were doing that, but that's already answered."
Isaac smiles at Dalia, then Kaiser.

If Dalia isn't looking, Kaiser gives him the bird.

_{"How come you told him first? I'll stop, but he's an asshole and he knows it. Dude is practically asking for me to boot his ass into orbit right now."}

Kaiser starts eating his omelet, putting on a various amount of salts and other spices.

Given that Kaiser doesn't get kicked in the shins again, it's pretty safe to say that Dalia didn't catch him flipping the bird. _{"How is he an asshole? He's been really helpful and supportive whenever I've been around him. And I told him... a while ago. It was before I made actual plans though, so I don't see what the problem is. Plus it doesn't affect either of you, just me."}

"Oh, uh... You don't have to come, you know. It is supposed to be private and stuff, so you'll have to wait on the Nomad if you did. But it's up to you whether you want to come or not, I wouldn't mind either way," Dalia says, returning the smile.

Kaiser looks slightly hurt. Well, as hurt as you can look stuffing your face.

_{"...I'd've like to known a while ago; I've been looking for solutions on my own. Granted, I didn't find anything, but still..."}

"Well, I promised, and always intended on keeping my word."
Upon seeing Kaiser flipping him off, he sighs.
"Really? You're going to act childish, Kaiser?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

_{"I don't see how telling you anything would have fixed things. It's not like I know anything more about George beyond what I told you. And weren't you fiddling with nanobots or something anyways? What went wrong with that? And why are we whispering?"}

Dalia rolls her eyes as Kaiser and Isaac start fighting again and settles down to eat her own omelette, despite the fact that it's gone a little bit cold now.

"I'll damn well do what I please, you snarky bastard."

Isaac just shakes his head.
"I will never get why you hate me so much. It might help us both if you told me what I did."

Kaiser sighs, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"You're more or less right. You haven't really done anything, _{I think...} So,  I'll try and be more... civil, from now on.

Kaiser moves closer to Isaac, out of Dalia's earshot.

_{But if you're lying to me, right now, because you understand perfectly well why, there'll be hell to pay if I find out otherwise."}

"I actually look forward to... well, being on good terms, with you Kaiser."
Isaac nods.
_{"What would I lie about anyways? What, do you think I like Dalia, and afraid I'm going to 'steal' your girl? Serious question, not me making fun despite what you think."}

Kaiser freezes up, before jerkily offering a handshake.

_{"Yeah, more than a bit of effing evidence in that direction, huh?"}
