Alice sat there next to Icarus, tears in her eyes as she listened to Bernhardt.

"I doubt anything super serious will happen, there are limits to bad luck after all"

Bernhardt leans against the wall in silence, occasionally glancing around.

It has been three days since Nathan attacked the party. Since then absolutely nothing of importance has happened, giving people needed time to mourn Winry's death and look after her funeral arrangements. As the new day dawns, hopefully everyone's outlook on life can glow a little brighter too.


Dalia is in the Nomad's kitchen, humming to herself as she makes an omelette for breakfast. Considering the fact that she spent the last few nights crying herself to sleep, this is a large improvement in her mood even if her eyes are still a bit red.


Hakim is in Maria's massive retirement village mansion, eating some breakfast and swallowing down his usual stack of pills.

Catherine is probably sitting on the couch, as usual.

Kaiser sleepily plods his way into the kitchen, eying the omelet before realizing it's beyond his reach, turning his gaze to Dalia.

"Mornin'."

Icarus makes coffee for everyone, like she used to years ago.

Dalia guiltily looks down at her feet for a moment, like she has just been caught with her hand in the cookie jar, but recovers quickly and mumbles, "Morning. Do you want me to make you an omelette or something?"

Catherine is probably sitting on the couch, as usual.

((I like to imagine that Catherine has spent the previous few days on the couch, waiting for someone to acknowledge her existence and offer her a room to sleep in. ))

Kaiser opens the refrigerator, looking dully into it.

((kaiser would've invited her on the nomad, but he's just starting to have suspicions about the gender ratio))

Dalia thinks for a couple moments and then says, "Sure. If you'll let me borrow the Nomad after breakfast. Okay?"

((A gender ratio which is highly in Kaiser's favour, I might add. The dude has pretty high chances of forming his own harem if he wanted to. ))

"...what would you need a plane for?"

Kaiser closes the refrigerator.

"To get to places I want to go?" she says, evading the question. Moments after the refrigerator door closes, Dalia opens it again so that she can get the eggs needed for Kaiser's omelette. "It's not like I can take a bus there or anything like that."

"And where are you trying to go? I could just take you there, y'know."

"That's what I meant...? I mean, I can't fly the Nomad by myself after all. Though it can fly itself, so..." Dalia shrugs and adds, "So it's up to you whether you want to come with me to England or not. Um... There is a bunch of people there like me, who have the parasites abd know a lot about them too, so... I'm going over to meet them today. To talk things in person. Unless you won't give me the Nomad, of course."
