"Anything to report?"

"She could also practice her, uh, cursing? But I have no idea how she'd train that."

"Nothing in particular. Though I just picked up a transmission about a high concentration of void energy in southern Greece. A field team is checking it out, as we speak... I'm sure it's nothing major. Could be worse, like really recent uprisings in Egypt. Something about a string of murders the government refuses to solve."

"Uprisings in Egypt? I thought that it was supposed to be one of the most stable countries in the region. What makes these murders so shocking that everyone is up in arms due to them? Were huge swaths of neighbourhoods being killed overnight? I cannot think of any other explanation that'd cause these riots."

"Here, I can bring up the details..."
Linda's visor goes completely black on the outside, as articles and MPRA files flash up.
"There's only been a handful of riots, mainly in Alexandria... Seems buildings were suddenly just catching fire. Burnt down a neighborhood, apparently... Murders all performed the same way were done in a matter of a few hours. Looks like... 27 in total. Local police refuse to discuss with the press, and refuse to look into it. Even the President is refusing to address it, but he did put the district on quarantine, with anti-magic fields. That's all I can get from the official MPRA files. Seems our source on the inside was uh... one of the victims... I might have to pick up this case..."

"Yes...I don't really know if I could properly relax so soon.."

Alice slowly nodded, she moved forwards and hugged Icarus.
"That's fine, we... we can wait as long as we need to."


Karis smiled,
"Well I suppose she could try it on you."

"That bad? I can see why everyone is rioting, even if I don't agree with their actions. If you do pick up the case then let me know. I'll do my best to help, however I can."

"Will do. Anything new with you?"

"Nothing to report. I am down here to assist everyone in anyway I can, so I've been out of the loop for a while. Nothing I can do about that until they post me somewhere else. Which will probably be in a couple more months, give or take. I did join the group quite a while ago."

"Well I suppose she could try it on you."

"Yeah, I guess that would work... although I'd probably suffer for it."

Alucard is inside his lab, the doors closed and purple lights flashing under the crack of it as he works on his mysterious machinations.
 "Thaumaturgic machinations... a splendid way to settle down the dismal blackness of the day."
Hilda is sketching out designs for her technomancy.
Bartimaeus, as always, seems to be missing. He could either be somewhere around here, or nowhere, considering he could be anything.
Although Linda does see a single white sock laying off place.
Bernhardt is counting dead bodies from Nathan's destruction and collecting them for proper burial. After he finished, he went to Linda and let out a sigh.
 "Death toll is high. Eighty-one men on Nathan's side dead, one on ours, and three civilian deaths."

Hakim, who is still with Linda, shrugs at Bernhardt. "The fact that Winry and three civilians died is terrible, but we did all we could to minimize casualities. They did attack us first after all, and concerning the circumstances we should be thankful that more weren't wounded or killed."

"We do what we have to..."
Ashley sits on the couch inside the house. She taps her fingers.

Bernhardt nods.
 "The government will handle the families," he said before turning to Icarus, "You seemed to be closest to Winry, so I will leave her burial up to you. It is Begualsian custom to burn them and shoot them into orbit, if that's what you want to do, but Winry never really was ever born into Begualsian customs. Either way, may she find peace in the afterlife."
Ashley sees a portal rip beside her, and Alucard casually walks through and sits next to her before closing it.
