The man dropped the dart a second before the needles extended. It became clear to Kaiser that the Ranil's reactions were anything but natural,
”I must commend you” he spoke as he looked at the dart lying on the floor ”If I wasn't able to see, that would have got me.” He smiled down at the boy and leant in close, whispering so that only Kaiser could hear ”For that, I will tell you something. I am the reason this man is dead, I did not however kill him”

Elliot glared at Sen as she spoke those words,
”I am not the murderer, I simply want Titus to be recovered by the time we head back.”

Karis glanced back toward Dalia and smiled,
”It's not that simple, it's important that he doesn't show favouritism”

The king looked after Icarus, almost dismissing her as soon as she left and hardly paid any attention to Hilda walking afterwards. Vierus on the other hand seemed slightly unsettled, many of the eyes in the room were now on him. He shifted slightly and looked at the other suspects with a hint of nervousness in his eyes.

Icarus explains to HILDA how to get through the catacombs into Vierus quarters, then stays behind to ambush Vierus on his way home.

HILDA indeed makes her way there.

"Yeah, I can see that," Dalia mumbles. "So... How long do you think this'll take? The entire night? 'Cause I was kinda looking forward to going out and exploring the city some more. It's the only thing interesting to do in this place."

Karis sighed slightly,
"Probably soon, when everyone arrives and has been questioned." she looked around "I hope Titus comes soon, I was looking for him in the garden when the murder happened."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Oh, what happened to him? I obviously wasn't here when everything happened so... I wouldn't know. Did he disappear or something? And who else are we waiting for? If everybody who wasn't there when the murder happened is going to be brought in for questioning we're going to be here all night."

Kaiser makes a little speaker and relays the recorded message to the entire ballroom.

"Could you repeat that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of you royally screwing yourself."

((cameras. Kaiser installed cameras. Not speakers. Enough deus ex machina with the truth serum already.))

((I'll let him be able to record it, not broadcast it to the entire room however that will take quite a while to set up. Dodging the things is all within his power set and I can send you details on the power he is using if you want.))

"He got angry with Father and left" she sighed again "His temper really gets the better of him sometime. We're waiting for Elliot too, he's probably with Titus."

Kaiser turns the lump on the ceiling into a mounted speaker.

((sigh, and thus Kaiser ruined my plan. By showing Vierus that the claim "this record is fake", is indeed a defence that can work.., making Icarus threat null, and Hilda as the good cop unneeded....))
