"Uh..." Dalia has no idea what to say to that, but gestures to Illian to go on.

[Kansa]

Her smile widened and she crossed her legs,
"It's quite dangerous really, the ability to force bad luck upon people. What's the largest effect it's ever had?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

Dalia suddenly gets all evasive, her eyes wandering away from Illian to focus on a corner of a room. "Depends on what you mean by largest effect, I guess... It's not that dangerous though. Most of the time."

[Kansa]

"Lets go with most dangerous, that's probably the most important thing here."

[Projeck37]

"Welcome to the land of the living, sleepy head."

_{"I-I... what... where are w- oh, the lab... thank goodness..."}

"Oh, that's pretty simple. It makes stuff break down or stop working and food rot faster, but nothing dangerous. It won't make a giant rock fall on your head or anything that'll kill you. Or I think so, maybe it'll do that if you got a lot of it at once." Dalia hesitates for a moment, her fingers drumming against her elbows before she finally says, "It could hurt you indirectly though. Like something'll break down and if you were in a different situation it'd just be an inconvenience. But in the situation you're in it's dangerous. That's really rare though."

[Kansa]

She nodded still smiling
"I'm glad to hear that, it was difficult to get an exact background on you so I had to be sure."

[Projeck37]

"You just about fucked up again."
Ashley chuckles.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Really? They did a bunch of tests and junk on me to find all of this out. It shouldn't have been too hard to find this stuff out. I think I even have my old info book somewhere on me still." Dalia pats herself down to try and find it. Obviously she doesn't produce it and simply shrugs, "Whatever. It's not that important anyways. So is that all you wanted to talk about? I would be surprised if it was."

"You just about fucked up again."
Ashley chuckles.

"The tests yes but that doesn't provide your entire life story." she shrugged "It was mostly that I must admit, it's important to check these things after all. I am curious though about your meeting with a man in the gardens, what did he talk to you about?"

For a long while Tobias would simply rest in the king's shadow, the king talking about simple things and wandering about the castle. It was quite boring really until he met with an obviously old mad, by Tobias' guess somewhere in their late seventies. The king dismissed the guards and then he sat down, gesturing the old man to sit down across from him.
”It is good see you again Vierus, I trust you are well.” Vierus coughed but nodded,
”I am” his voice creaked slightly as he spoke. The king nodded and took a small sip from a glass of wine beside him.

”Have you made any progress” the king despite his calm countenance sounded slightly anxious, the high priest shook his head
”I have not I'm afraid, it has never been done before and by all my questioning of Salim it cannot be done without harming him” the king did not speak for a while but then sighed
”I thank you old friend all the same, keep looking will you. Especially at the previous ones we have.” Vierus nodded again at put his hand on the king's shoulder
”If there is a way I will find it I promise you. The priest took a sip of his own drink ”For now though lets talk of happier times”

They talked for a while about old times that they had spent together, nothing of importance at least that Tobias could tell. He got the feeling however that the conversation he had just heard before hand was very important.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Nothing much. Just how beautiful the park was and stuff. He drew my portrait. It was kinda creepy, honestly. What's so important about Ranil that you have to come through my window to talk about it?"

[Kansa]

She smiled slightly,
"I see you don't know, he is quite an important person around here. He's the head of the other main religion in this place"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Oh," Dalia replies, sounding less than excited by this revelation. "Is that all?"
