"Uh huh. Normal people tend to not eat on the sides of buildings though. What are you even doing up here anyways? That doesn't look very comfortable," she replies, a slight frown on her face.

[Kansa]

Karis nodded, she led Kaiser out of the ground and passed the guards at the gates. As they walked over one of the glass bridges Karis spoke,
"What is it like back in your home land?"

She rose to her feet, now standing horizontally.
"It gives a good view and it's quite comfortable really."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Are you sure about that? Because from where I'm standing it doesn't look all that comfortable. Kinda silly, really."

[smurfingtonthethird]

"Very different. Massive towers of glass and steel tear the sky, our non-magical technology is amazing, and our magical technology even more so. The downside is that the mainworld is more or less a gigantic warzone at this point, and the dust will probably take decades to settle."

[Kansa]

"You don't really know until you've tried it." she took another bite out of her fruit.

She sighed slightly
"It sounds interesting, I would like to see it one day. The war is with the Sultanes right?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"I guess... Do you have to eat right here though? It's kinda... I dunno. Not the best place for it."

[smurfingtonthethird]

"Well, them and a million other things. Sultanes are just one of the few problems we have to deal with."

[Kansa]

"It is one of the best places really" she pointed out to the distance "You can see the docks from here."

Karis nodded,
"I see. We don't really have too much trouble here, a few threats but most are easily dealt with."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"The docks?" Dalia asks, leaning out further to see what the woman is pointing at. "What's so interesting about a bunch of docks? Is there something going on there or what?"

[Kansa]

Dalia could just make out the harbour that they had arrived in,
"There are always things going on there, people coming and going. I even saw your ship arrive Dalia."

[smurfingtonthethird]

Kaiser looks slightly annoyed.

"Hm."

[Kansa]

Karis looked towards him,
"What is it?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

Dalia shrugs and turns back to look at the woman, giving her a look. "Uhuh. That's kinda rude, you know. Knowing someone's name without introducing yourself."

[Kansa]

"I was never one much for politeness" she said with a smile "But if you insist, my name is Illian."

[USEC_OFFICER]

Dalia still isn't smiling, despite how friendly Illian is being. "I can figure that much. So why are you really here, Illian? I'm not an idiot, I know that there's better places to look at the docks besides... This place."
