[Sanure]

Walpurga heads into the basement, as does Winry and the girl. As Walpurga walks in she notices a few things out of place. The first thing is a book. It is labeld, Walpurgisnacht. The second object is a smooth crystal shapped in a obelisk form. The last object is a red candle, still wrapped in film. These objects are the only things out of place. The rest of the basement is bland other than a for a few boxes, a wine rack, which still has a few unbroken bottles, and a lot of empty shelves. A recess in the wall acrosss from her shows a small altar, that looks like it hasn't been used in forever.

"Good point. We'll just have to wing it, and hopefully leave as soon as possible."

[USEC_OFFICER]

Dalia nods in agreement, "Yep. Sounds good to me."

Kaiser sighs.

"At least they'll have food. Well, probably."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Only if you stick around for long enough. I'm pretty sure that's how it works. They serve little bits of food and wine first, and then there's a dinner or something later. Much later." Dalia replies, trying to sound authoritative. "Though they ought to have a kitchen somewhere making all of this food. So if we're sneaky we should be able to take something from there after we leave."

"Wouldn't it be easier to just go out into the city and get some food there? I've got a bit of their money, so we should be able to get something."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Oh. Right. That makes sense," Dalia admits. "So that's the plan? Get away from the ball as fast as we can and meet up here before going into the city for dinner?"

"Seems like a good one."

[Sanure]

Hakim, Isaac, and Garrett arrive at Windsor castle, to find the gates torn down and the guards all dead, "It seems that our enemy has arrived. They will probably already be obtaining the part as we speak."

"Uhuh. Just watch it not work out," she says, a touch gloomily as her earlier misery starts to swell up again.


Hakim looks around at the carnage around them and nods. Alright. Stay silent and let's get this done quickly. he telepathically projects to everyone, before taking point and heading inside.

Garrett investigates the bodies, closing eyelids where necessary, before following the others in.

"At least now the enemy will be injured..."


"Aw, don't be like that. It'll work, as long as we're ready to bolt at a moment's notice."

Isaac follows.

"Maybe. But maybe there'll be guards and stuff to stop us from going out or something. It'd be really stupid otherwise."

Chuyo leads the trio towards the designated turret, bodies lining their path. As they arrive at the central tower, they notice that a lot of the metal from the castle has been stripped down and removed, "How odd. Even the doors have been stripped of metal." Chuyo then leads the trio into the tower, and towards the basement. Within a few minutes they arrive at a sealed lab door, seemingly undisturbed, "Well, here we are. I know it's not the northern most turret, but we may get the jump on them if we go his way."
