Elliot let out a sigh,
"You will meet him soon, Titus is waiting until everyone arrives here."

[USEC_OFFICER]

Dalia nods at Elliot, trying to look more interested than she actually feels, then wanders over to where Kaiser is and pokes him to get his attention.

"Good, because I have some stern fucking words for that bastard."


Kaiser is fiddling around with metal shards.

"Oh, heya, Dalia. What's up?"

[Kansa]

Elliot's expression was unclear under his curtain of hair,
"What about?"

"Failure to uphold the mantle."

[Kansa]

"Mantle?"

[smurfingtonthethird]

"Your civilisation had the ability to uplift and protect humanity from itself, and instead you ran and hid yourselves away. Unacceptable."

[USEC_OFFICER]

She shrugs, "I dunno. Nothing much. Did you do anything interesting? I just sorta... found a park and stayed there, some guy drew my portrait. It was pretty boring, but... I sorta wanted to be alone I guess. I still kinda feel terrible." She shrugs again, as if to suggest that it's not a very big deal. Or the exact opposite, it's hard to tell.

Sen heads to the meeting area, Titus having proved more boring than Sen had assumed.

As Walpurga takes her first steps into the house, she is hit with a powerful wave of psionic energy. A memory plays in her head, of a party with Simon Giest welcoming guests. He talks, though no sound is heard, and the guests laugh and go on to mingle with the others. The memory ends rather quickly.

[Kansa]

Elliot shrugged,
"You will find some people who agree with you, the king is not one of them however."

Titus headed up towards the grounds as well, waiting around for the last members of the group to arrive.

"So what's his reasoning, he didn't want to hurt anyone? Did he not realise his retreat from the world killed thousands of people anyway?"


"I... bought some metal pieces, for science reasons 'n' shit... Portrait?"

[Kansa]

"He is not the one who made that decision, he is only their descendent."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Uhuh. It wasn't all that good, but this guy named Ranil or something really wanted to draw it for some reason. So I let him, even though it was kinda creepy."

Kaiser half-grins.

"...now I kind of want to see it."


"Regardless, his bloodline is at fault."
