One of the women speaks up, "W-we can't ma'am. It's our job to take it to the morgue." one of the officers waves the woman down, "Um.. We can only leave him here for a few minutes. We still have to do our jobs after all." The woman looks sad and drags the other girl with her, leaving Kyle on the Stretcher.

(I'm heading to bed. Can't wait to see how things are going when I get up~))

"I understand you're doing your job... But he's a special individual. Both in the eyes of the world, and in our eyes... We'll do what he would've wished for his body. I don't think that includes preserving his body through chemicals and such.
Ashley stands firmly, clenching her fists to keep from shaking. She walks over to the body and leaves a coin on the forehead. Her own parting gift, sporting an engraved Escher Triangle on it. She whispers into his ear.
"We'll give you a hero's burial... Like the times of old... Either that or what you wish."

Alucard sets his portable hole on the ground and pulls out a magical instrument which condenses and collects trace essence. He attempts to do so to both magic traces and place them within a vial.

He does so.

Police, medical units, and, eventually, Reporters begin to show up at the Castle wreckage. It was hard to miss, seeing as they crashed right next to a major city.

One police officer hurridly gets out of his car and approaches Alucard, "You sir. Can you explain what happened here? We got reports that the flying castle owned by Kyle Johnson was seen crashing." The other police officers begin working to make sure the reporters stay clear of the scene as the Medical units begin to look for injured and deceased. A pair of young women approach Winry and Alucard, they are carrying a stretcher and a body bag with them.

"...a friend and a good man died."

Ghost Kyle looks pointedly at the bit that popped off the suit. If Winry bothered to check it would be apparent that that's actually a feature of the suit and not me not random bullshit.

Winry takes it into her paw and examines it as tears well in her eyes.

There's a little projector on the inner side.

With a wipe of her tears, Winry scrambles behind a rock and in the dark and shakingly starts the device.

A little projection of Kyle pops up. He looks slightly haggard. Must be from back before everyone met up again. He looks off to the side somewhere and sighs.
"Oh piss and vinegar, Fluffy, I told you to not lay on the workbench. I mean, I leave tools and shit there..."
Kyle looks back towards Winry's direction looking slightly surprised.
"Oh fuck this thing's on. Um... okay, so, since you're seeing this then obviously I'm dead. So... Um, first off, try not to be too sad, not like I was that great of a guy..."
Kyle wipes off his hands.
"Um... Make sure that HK-47 and Maid-chan make it back to the castle, I refuse to let my house become a wreck. More so than it was at least. Anyways, They'll fix it up just right..."
Kyle looks up and scratches his chin.
"Uh... make sure that all my family knows. Lunette and Sen and Yumiko and the lot are included. And... cheer up, I'm probably just faking or something. Have a nice day."
With that it shuts off... Kyle definitely isn't faking his death.

Eventually Dalia shuffles off the ship and into the city, her head down and not paying attention to anything around her. It's easy to see that she has no idea where she's going, but she presumes that she can't stay on the boat now that it has docked. Since the city is the closest place she can reach, Dalia mindlessly wanders around it until it's time to head to the palace. Which she has no idea where it is or when she has to be there. Obviously with her sour mood she hasn't been paying much attention to anybody else.


Back at the castle, Hakim is hovering around in the background. Figuratively of course. He has only been with the group for a couple of days after all and barely knows anybody, especially Kyle and Ashley. So he gives everyone their space, ready to help if needed but generally keeping out of the way. Thankfully he hadn't brought anything important to the castle, so he has no need to search through the wreckage.

"Where's the damn thing..."
Ashley searchs around for the various latches and such in order to take the armor off. He'd probably want it to be preserved or used by someone else in the group...

((Kyle can be glad Icarus wasn't there to hear the part where she was grouped as "the lot".))

Walpurga looks for remains of the castle security system. Surely Winry would be able to salvage some data of the footage.


Icarus goes to explore the temples, both of the named and the unnamed god.

After Winry watched the projection, she sit down and resumed crying. Kyle was like family to her, after all.

It takes Walpurga a bit to find it, but after moving a large piece of rubble she finds the Security system still mostly intact.

Walpurga watches the footage to identify Kyles murderer
