The man did not give them over to Icarus just yet,
"Before I give them to you, we need to have a talk about where I come from."

"Sigh."

[Kansa]

"It's probably best Miss Legnard hears this as well"

He let out a sigh of his own,
"Can you let me in to see her?"

"Well, you do have an appointment, so just come with me."

Icarus brings the dude to Alice

 "Uhm... we must see Her Highness."

[Kansa]

The two men followed after Icarus. When they entered into Alice's work room, she was reading a book. She looked up as Icarus entered.
"Oh" she said as she noticed the two men behind Icarus, she spent a moment taking in there strange clothing and then spoke again "I... I guess you are the people who want the murder solved." The man nodded and took a seat in front of Alice,
"We are. Before I tell you more details though, I need to say who I am where I come from." Alice paused for a moment but then signalled the man to continue

The man took in a deep breath and then began to speak"We come from Yileesse, it's a place that is separate from this world and a very well kept secret. It was sealed away from the rest of this world centuries ago by some of the most powerful mages of that time, a place where we could construct our own world. It is very different from the place that you call home and if you accept this job you will be the first people from this world to see it for a very very long time."

[Akroma]

"Can't be such a well made seal if you could get out, and we can get in."

[Kansa]

He smiled slightly,
"That's because I know the way in, if you tried to get there yourself you would be out there for years. I am not just a resident of this place either, I hold a special position amongst our kind."

[Akroma]

"Issat so. Well, let me read the documents."

"Eh, Ossy always has a trick up his sleeve. You'll see. I have to go see someone now, bye bye," Bartimaeus says before teleporting away in search of Isaac.

[Kansa]

"One more thing. I need to tell you exactly what that position is. I am Titus Elariel, prince of Yileesse and heir to the throne" he finally handed Icarus the documents "That is one of the reasons this murder is so important."

Isaac is easily found, walking through a hallway.
"We require her assistance, and I believe it'd be in her best interest."
