"Fight on? What you two turtledoves don't seem to understand that desire is irrelevant. Willpower is irrelevant. Icarus. Is a machine!"
Aedan materialises himself before Alice, conjuring a shield of air that seeks its own. A truely divine work. He is not at all holding back here, this air-shield is serious.
"Hidden combat manouver."
Hakim sprints as fast as he can and plants himself in front of Alice, more fortress than man.
"God killing lance."
A deafening blast goes through the emptiness, sending ripples through the metal of the train, sending shards of white lack, no, a powder of white particles like a shockwave across the train. The orichalcum blade, that has developed a craving for divine blood ever since it has last tasted it, clashes with the air-shield as the unstoppable force that clashes with the immovable object. For a split second, that still lasted minutes, neither side seems to progress, and it already seemed as if Aedan had won, when Icarus chassis, already scarred from the intensity of the attack, first glows red, then white, and finaly melts off her body completely, leaving nothing but the charred core metal. In a sanity shattering moment, the shield bursts, and Belkelel moves right through Aedan. It was only due to his divine speed that he could avoid a mortal blow, but before he or anyone can assess the damage done, Belkelel is already bursting through Hakim. Blood spatters. But Belkelel was stopped. She stood with her arm piercing through Hakim all the way to the shoulder, but she had stopped. Aedan was successful...his shield redirected Belkelel, if only by the slightest, and instead of piercing Hakims center mass, it was just his shoulder that now had a hole the size of a cannonball.
"This...won't...stop me."
Belkelel continued moving, tugging on her arm and tearing Hakims alrteady useless limb off with her momentum, raising her left hand against Alice.
And stops.
"Is that so? Very well then."
She moves out of her combat pose, and with a violent burst of energy, throws Icarus mind out of her chassis, into the HYDRA-01. The train passes another portal, and comes to a stop - in the outback. In this moment, the pain in Alice stops, and is replaced with something more sinister. A feeling that you might describe how you would describe dying. A cold unpleasantness, like an ice cube being shoved down your throat, cold and suffocating, but also, short. The feeling vanishes as soon as it came.
"I have seen today just how insignificant you all are. You are no threat to me, nor to this cycle. Run. Enjoy the time you still have while you can. Those who follow me will die."
And then she just stands there. Waiting.
((for the math, Belkelel burned 80 mana there, to boost her strength and skill both by 500%, resulting in an auto-crit (doubling the whole damage)), and added to that is the *4 multiplikator of orchicalcum against the divine. This is further increased by 250% for the god killing lance manouer. Aedan had to block 2300-ish damage, and as a result, is criticaly wounded, whatever that means for gods. Hakim is at -10, courtesy of Aedan saving his life. He may have lost an arm though, if that matters.))
