"And now, I will let her watch."

Icarus takes a combat pose, once again setting all her systems into overdrive, no, even moreso than before. Her white armor plates being melted by the sheer heat of the electricty arching over her body, leaving a black lightning pattern to scar her chassis. The entire train is resonating in the tune of her blade. You have seen this before...

"Help me....HELP ME!"

when Icarus aimed her blade to save Alice from Zhengara.

"Don't do it. No..."

Alice stopped in her tracks as she saw what was happening to her wife, quickly she snapped out of it though and charged forwards even quicker than before.
"I'm... I'm coming, keep fighting I know you can do it. Hold out a... a little longer I'll save you"

Fine. Isaac retreats back to keep from dying. Again. He can't just have one heroic moment...

Dalia is uncertain about what she should do for several moments, and then snaps into action.  She tries to unleash a gigantic curse on Icarus to reduce their skill by 75% for 10 mana and 1d3 damage to herself. If Icarus moves before Dalia, then she shifts her target to Belkelel instead.

Hakim still has Support Defend up on Alice. As the healer approaches he grimly sticks by her, ready to swoop should the worse happen. Icarus may be much faster than him, but he's closer to Alice then she is and he just has to deflect some of the blow to protect Alice.

((Probably not the best actions for the situation but... Eh.

EDIT: I just remembered that Belkelel has dumped 112 mana in this fight... So either they're almost out of juice, have a ton of mana, or perk shenanigans are happening. And only one of those scenarios are good for us.))

((she has a tier 1 and a tier 4 perk for mana, and 40 statpoints into mana, specificaly to sustain this kind of fighting style))

((I figured as much... Though even with all of that mana their reserves have to be under 50% now. So we just have to somehow survive several more turns and then beat up their mana deprived body.

*Cue Belkelel having an attack that sucks up mana.*))

"Fight on? What you two turtledoves don't seem to understand that desire is irrelevant. Willpower is irrelevant. Icarus. Is a machine!"

Aedan materialises himself before Alice, conjuring a shield of air that seeks its own. A truely divine work. He is not at all holding back here, this air-shield is serious.

"Hidden combat manouver."

Hakim sprints as fast as he can and plants himself in front of Alice, more fortress than man.

"God killing lance."

A deafening blast goes through the emptiness, sending ripples through the metal of the train, sending shards of white lack, no, a powder of white particles like a shockwave across the train. The orichalcum blade, that has developed a craving for divine blood ever since it has last tasted it, clashes with the air-shield as the unstoppable force that clashes with the immovable object. For a split second, that still lasted minutes, neither side seems to progress, and it already seemed as if Aedan had won, when Icarus chassis, already scarred from the intensity of the attack, first glows red, then white, and finaly melts off her body completely, leaving nothing but the charred core metal. In a sanity shattering moment, the shield bursts, and Belkelel moves right through Aedan. It was only due to his divine speed that he could avoid a mortal blow, but before he or anyone can assess the damage done, Belkelel is already bursting through Hakim. Blood spatters. But Belkelel was stopped. She stood with her arm piercing through Hakim all the way to the shoulder, but she had stopped. Aedan was successful...his shield redirected Belkelel, if only by the slightest, and instead of piercing Hakims center mass, it was just his shoulder that now had a hole the size of a cannonball.

"This...won't...stop me."

Belkelel continued moving, tugging on her arm and tearing Hakims alrteady useless limb off with her momentum, raising her left hand against Alice.

And stops.

"Is that so? Very well then."

She moves out of her combat pose, and with a violent burst of energy, throws Icarus mind out of her chassis, into the HYDRA-01. The train passes another portal, and comes to a stop - in the outback. In this moment, the pain in Alice stops, and is replaced with something more sinister. A feeling that you might describe how you would describe dying. A cold unpleasantness, like an ice cube being shoved down your throat, cold and suffocating, but also, short. The feeling vanishes as soon as it came.

"I have seen today just how insignificant you all are. You are no threat to me, nor to this cycle. Run. Enjoy the time you still have while you can. Those who follow me will die."

And then she just stands there. Waiting.

((for the math, Belkelel burned 80 mana there, to boost her strength and skill both by 500%, resulting in an auto-crit (doubling the whole damage)), and added to that is the *4 multiplikator of orchicalcum against the divine. This is further increased by 250% for the god killing lance manouer. Aedan had to block 2300-ish damage, and as a result, is criticaly wounded, whatever that means for gods. Hakim is at -10, courtesy of Aedan saving his life. He may have lost an arm though, if that matters.))

Alice stopped as she watched the two people jump in front of her, she looked on in shock as the blade went not only through the shield but Hakim as well. She began to move in a desperate attempt to block the next attack with her machete but froze as it never came. She looked up for a moment but then the cold feeling hit her, she fell down to her knees and desperately tried to send a message through the link.

Aedan dabs at his wound with a bored expression.
"Impressive. For a Voidling."

Dalia looks uncertainly around at everyone, unsure about what to do. And more importantly, what everyone else will be doing. "Uh... Now what?"

Hakim is unconcious and thus is unable to say or do anything. With no input his limbs hold themselves in the position that he was in when he was hit, making him lie awkwardly on the floor of the train.

((Eh... Hakim will just go back into surgery to attach a new port for his lost limb. Plus some alloy replacements for whatever bones he lost, and some skin and muscle to graft on if needed. Which will probably take several weeks of testing and rest until he is fit enough to rejoin the group, now that I think about things. So... I guess I'll need a temporary replacement for Hakim then? Until he recovers that is. Either someone from the same organization with the exact same stats, making them a palette swap so that Hakim doesn't return under-leveled, or an entirely new character. Or I could do both and have three characters going at once, but that probably goes against the rules. What I'm trying to say is that I'm in the mood to make/test new character mechanics, but don't want to dump Hakim for no reason.))

"The cycle ends here," Hilda simply states before walking forward to Belkelel, "You already lost the moment you stepped foot into this Creation."
Hilda has the gall to step right into Belkelel's face, a furious look on her face.
"Run. Enjoy the time left while you still can. Those who fight against us, Team Northsdale, and our home, will die."

Meanwhile, Bartimaeus is playing chess against himself in the void.
 "Check."
