Alice continued to focus her magic, an expression of relief passed across her face as she saw the 03 destroyed. She tried once again to let the pulse of healing out.

"Just fighting fire with fire!
Answer my question already! You having Hilda's core must mean that you or Belkelel devised a method of repairing it after all these years, right? I'm curious!

Whatever though, don't tell me, tell Alucard!"
The form of fire says before shapeshifting into the form of King Solomon, staff in hand. He taps his staff against the ground and a summoning circle forms out of Bartimaeus's blue-green essence and burns itself into the ground into a large magic seal.
"Venite. Come forth from eldritch depth and to this arcane field,
For saving you from your final breath I bear this mystic seal."

Bartimaeus summons Alucard.

Winry sees if any of the humans are okay, a bit calm now. First thing she does is gather the manufactured ICARUS units together and scraps them for parts.

Alucard coughs and rubs at his chest.
"Got a strange feeling in my chest... probably the aura, this whole forest has been giving me the creeps."

Why?

This time, he would probably be talking about the dimensional gateway thing. Ashley, at least, got the impression that he wanted to know why they needed it, more than why the Twilight Sigil was needed.

Alucard, having complained about his chest, might view it as an invitation, if he was feeling petty, though...

Hakim rockets forward, and rocket punches 07 as they crawl up onto the train.

Dalia tries to unleash a major curse costing 8 mana on 04 for 45% defense and resistance.

Ashley crosses her arms.

Isaac waits for heals.

Tobias attempts to make it to the last cart.

If the Shadows are allowed a move next turn...
Shadow 1 casts Terror V.
((-10 mana, causing blindness and a 60% chance to cause Insanity, rendering the target useless until a d20 check is passed, with 16 or higher as passing. They cannot perform an action the same turn that they pass the roll. Cannot be dodged, but can be resisted.  Yes, a lower tier of this spell has been approved of before.))

Shadow 2 intentionally goes after Shadow 1, lurking forward to punch Belkelel.

Stella grits her teeth at the sudden jolt against her scales and attempts to snatch the core, If she manages it she blows out a smokescreen around herself(she didn't before because she might m,iss the core otherwise)

Belkelel the Machine God

Spoiler: Combatants (click to show/hide)

"Foreseen is forearmed."

Belkelel jumps to the front of the train, boosting her resistance and mag each by 100%. She then begins to spray the front of the train in flames.

"Unconventional combat manouver."

In front of the train, a new portal opens - leading to a portal slightly above, to the left of the train!

"Flaming fist of the machine god"

The train passes through the portal, and through ir right over itself, exactly at the moment the shadows emerge, basicaly running them over with a flaming train! [14, 12] vs [16] The two shadows take the brunt of the force, being smashes frontaly for [18+20]*2 vs [7, 9] 69 and 67 damage! (and that is only the magical portion of it, them being immune to physical damage, but susceptible to light and fire based attacks, or so I would assume) They are clinging onto the front of the train, and climb back on top of it.

However this is not all as the entire length of the train passes over itself, more or letting everyone who is not able to dodge in time run into a moving train, while on top of a moving train! Truely, now that is an AoE attack. [9, 5, 7+1, irr, 15, irr, 9, 4, 3, 5-2, 3, 14. 2]    Dalia manages to duck under the train in time, while Bartimaeus is smashes into the train for 8 damage! Icarus dodges in time, the netted-Walpurga meanwhile enjoys being glued to the floor, no need to duck! Sen manages to dodge easily, while Hilda is too low to be hit by that anyway, and Tobias too far up. Alice ducks in time, though Isaac is too slow, taking 15 damage! Isaac is at -7, losing consciousness, and perhaps his life! Stella, too big and slow to move out of the way, is rammed into the train for 19 damage! Hakim, also too slow, is smashed for 5 damage! But a train knows not friend or foe! the 02, suprised by such indifference, takes 12 damage, the 04 dodges, and the 07 is torn apart entirely!

Shadow 2 delays his action!

Dalia gets back up and specifies no target for the curse, so it is the 04 curses [15] vs [5] who is turned brittle!

Bartimaeus turns into King Solomon, and in what is maybe desperation, burns almost all of his remaining mana to summon Alucard! [24] Alucard is being summoned, incoming next turn!

"Ah, here we go, now you can burn again!"

The 02 extends the flamethrower again [6] vs [15], which without malfunctioning [5] vs [4] douses King Solomon in flame! [12+5] vs [6] 11 damage, though he at least avoids catching in fire again...which matters not, as he dissipates and return to the void, dead but undying.

The 04 rinses and repeats! [2] vs [3 haha oh god], Stella is cut, taking [10+1-1] vs [13+4+4] 11 damage. Death to the dragon! well, eventually.

Icarus, now far away from any action, flies across the train to get closer, landing next to Dalia!

Shadow 1 attempts to curse Belkelel! [28] vs [14+20], but his magic dissipates against a thin, previously almost invisible field of blueish energy surrounding Belkelel.

Shadow 2 bid his time, now going after Belkelels throat! [7] vs [4+5], however with a minimal sidestep, Belkelel dodges his attack. COUNTER ATTACK PROC! Belkelels plasma blade [13] vs [4, 19] would have missed the shadow, but Belkelel foresaw her own mistake, measuring her strike to precisely land where she saw the Shadow would be! [12] vs [8, 12+20+5]*2, ending the second shadow a mere 5 seconds after entering this realm.

"It is as I told you. The shadow realm is nothing before me."

----

Winry finds the humans afraid and weakened. She scraps the ICARUS units for loads of very useful parts.

----

Tries to get out of the net! [3+1] she only manages to loosen them a bit, being not all that strong...

Sen flies forward to catch Hilda...or at least flies forward as far as she can, being very far away from Hilda ((should have made the map much smaller...))

Hilda...takes no action? I guess she climbs on top of the train, and moves towards Stella, to get closer to her core, for convenience!

Tobias swings in from the trees, landing on the last cart!

Alice, taking a deep breath and concentration, casts the healing nova! [16] Healing Isaac for 31 (saved, but unconscious nevertheless), Tobias by 31 and Hakim to full HP! She herself also gains 31 HP ((dayum Alice...)) Perhaps Sen should have stayed in the healing radius, instead of flying on immediatly! ((team coordination is a thing))

Isaac is unconscious!

Hakim, rockets forward as fast as his heavily ladden rocket legs take him! ((this man is more rocket than man!))

Stella, catches Hildas core! The clash of void and creation causes both to decay a bit, as Stella clouds herself in smoke!

Tobias wakes Isaac up.

Shadow 1 does nothing but die from Belkelel, because it cannot retreat fast enough due to how the turns work.

"Shit... even if I did construct a makeshift spacecraft, we wouldn't have the life support required to even support me let alone the others... what to do Winry, what to do.. think!" Winry paced around in panic, not a single idea coming to her head.
Until she saw it.
She stared in the hole of what used to be an ICARUS unit, and saw the liquid coolant that kept its insides to a stable temperature slowly leak out and make the metal frigid to the touch.
Inspiration stuck, and she frantically levitated various panels of metal, bending and cutting them into proper shape. When she needed a screw she simply made one and when she needed a pipe she tore one out from the factory's infrastructure. She takes some glass panels from the factory and assembles them into a chamber.
Winry begins the invention of one large stasis chamber. Enough to stuff 100 weak humans and herself in.

Hilda stays back and conserves her energy, but stands ready to nab the core when necessary.

Bartimaeus shapeshifts into the Terminator as he sinks into a puddle of dissipating essence.
 "I'll be back."
And then it disappears.
