Hakim is still Support Defending Alice, so he rocket punches 07 instead. Assuming that the robot is in range, of course. If it isn't, then he strikes 03 instead.

Dalia gives another big curse to 03, reducing their defense and resistance by 45% each for 8 mana!

((MPRA has their fingers all over the Middle East, if you weren't paying attention. Heck, they have several seats on the Middle Eastern Union, or whatever they're calling it. So the drones would probably be identified easily and thus not shot down. Just a thought.))

((just voicing my annoyance that the players have not just one, but two private armies at command with a simple call. If people keep trying to call heavy military at any inconvenience, then by god I will make it inconvenient. This is a magical girl fantasy rpg, not a RTS where you controle armies. I will be fine with private armies being used later, when it is army vs army, but if people use the number of the nearest private army as a problem solution button, I will throw more problems their way.

One of the main things I wanted from V3 was for people to stop using IRIS as the go-to problem solution button and bam, now Iris has multiplied into IRIS and IRIS-2 the reckoning))

Alas, fine then. The skelettons burrow into the sand to dodge the gunships fire. Yay for not having to breath.

((Well... Yeah. I can't really argue with that. Though I think that it's been ages since RotMG was ever a magical girl game. With all of the robots, void creatures and other things, I think that we've descended into modern fantasy or something like that.))

((...I'm just not even going to comment, besides the fact that Iran would probably notice an army of skeletons digging in the desert, especially with MPRA's technological and economic help, as well as basic dominance over the Middle East.))

((Fine, jesus christ, the entire location gets retconned to Sahara so it doesn't interfer with Projecks claim to the middle east, but I am not going to give in to players screaming that their private armies should have auto-solved the plot already off-screen. Though I do argue that deserts, as a whole, are pretty remote places that nobody really goes through. If you are going to stay away from the few routes people take to cross deserts, nobody is going to notice a thing, because no, nobody does bi-monthly routine searches of the desert to check if anything suspicious is going on. People avoid deserts.))

((I completely agree with you with the desert,  though with the sultane thing happening, suspicions have risen higher. And I don't ever plan on using MPRA for instant plot.success though. Perhaps for extraction if completely necessary, but that'd be rare. I kinda dislike the whole using an army thing unless it's army v army.))

((As people get pissy real fast, just use the organisations as plot tools (eg fun fun steal nukey time), mook disposal (primarily if you want said battle to have a feeling of massive scale/importance), or just as quest givers (because motivation in this game is basically impossible, as catering to what the characters want takes effort). All organisation-antagonist combat should happen offstage, or at least in the background.))

((Same, PN.))
Ashley sighs.
"I feel bad for missing the wedding. I wonder how it's going."

And with a start, the odd time anomalies that only the PCs ever seem to notice breaks into the 'normal' flow of time again. As Ashley charges, annoyed at the lack of teleportation ability, she is counter-charged by a mastiff with fangs more like tusks. Jumping over, she cuts across it's flank with her fatigue katana. The creature yelps and jumps back, right into the waiting path of Alucard's Voidcrosser. Though the weapon should have cut it in half, the dog simply plants it's paws into Alucard's chest and shoves off, sending him stumbling back. The cut across it's underside seemed less severe than the light slice Ashley had made across it's flank, even. Perhaps Twilight wasn't hurt by Mordite? At least it did something...

Whatever the answer, there was no time for it now. While the two fighters were skilled, there were easily over a dozen hounds, and they didn't know the stag's fighting patterns well enough to work with it. But that was alright; all it really needed was some of the attention pulled away for it to stomp the hounds attacking it. In less than a minute(for fights, when they actually went, went fairly quickly), five of the hounds were incapacitated and the rest were fleeing back down the path, most wounded in some way.

The two found that Ashley's Mordite blade worked, but nowhere near as well as her Fatigue Katana, and Alucard's Voidcrosser seemed to be more effective as a bludgeoning instrument than a sword. Frustrating. Still...they won, at least. Though most of the hounds looked like they'd survive, the whimpers and whining as one of them limped off to try and join it's comrades evidence of their lack of threat. The stag dismissed the fallen beasts with an imperious toss of it's head as it turned to look at the two. It walked towards them until it was just within arm's reach, golden eyes gleaming softly even in the chill night air.

Ashley reaches out her hand, just out of reach of the stag, simply to see what it would do.

Alucard sheathes the Voidcrosser and looks over at the Stag.
"I believe it is our ally."

The stag lowers it's head, keeping it's eyes on them, such that the tips of it's antlers just barely pricked their foreheads; one each, simultaneously.

Come.
