While Kyle waits for the troops to return, he can feel himself getting weaker. His heart rate rises, his breath grows shallower. If he had a mirror, he would notice he was quite pale.

After a while, the reinforcements arrive, however it's four different men from before. The other four, after having escaped the presence grasp, outright refused to return, calling in sick for today. The anti-magic field merely lessons the rate at which the skelettons recombine, but can not prevent it. More and more skelettons emerge from the sand, some wearing remnants of ancient armor that has yet to erode. Perhaps this was, one upon a time, a battlefield.
