the usual wedding music starts to give Alice her cue.

[Kansa]

"Thank you" she paused as she heard the music and took in a deep breath "It's... It's starting" she got ready to let her father lead her up the isle.

The wedding preceeds as normal, because Smurf needs to go vomit.

[Kansa]

Alice walked up the isle with her father, a smile wide beneath her veil. When she reached there she stood opposite Icarus and looked her in the eyes.

[Akroma]

Icarus lifted the veil, thinking "ohh yeeaah, dis gun be gud".

"We gathered here today, because dese two beautiful girls here wanna show da whole world, dat people not being allowed to marry machines is a stupid rule, so dey wanna create a bond dat leaves every otha marriage get green with envy. Show dem girls!"

He brings forth a wooden bowl, filled what seems to be a mix of blood and rose water, and a brush, drawing a small symbol on the girls forehead.


"Now you betta sit down."

[Kansa]

Alice sat down, she was still smiling as she did so.

[Akroma]

Demarcus began a voodoo chant that may as well be used to summon rain or increase fertility, while starting a very primitive looking dance. Soon, Icarus and Alice would sit in trance.

((Being able to marry machines is a stupid rule, because most are AI, which aren't fully sentient and can be manipulated by their owners. Is silly.))

[Kansa]

Alice took in a deep breath as the chant began, soon she fell into the trance and continued to stare forwards.

[Akroma]

((shush. In this particular case it is opressive))

After a while, Alice vision would return..she'd feeel....not all that differently.

"You may now kiss the bride."

((Oppressive to who, the 50 or so AIs capable of romance on the planet?  ))

[Akroma]

Alice blinked as she broke out of the trance, she paused for a moment as she tried to feel if something had changed. She hesitated for a moment as she felt nothing had changed really but then she leant forwards and kissed Icarus passionately

[Akroma]

Alice would suddenly feel reminded of her very first kiss with Icarus, where her sheer desperation had let her soul reach out to Alice. The moment Alice was rushed by happiness that it had worked, she would also be hit by a wave of emotions as Icarus noticed it had worked, an instant feedback that immediatly rushed tears to her eyes, almost too intense to handle. Maybe she would have to try and mentaly turn that down a bit.
