Ashley approaches the stag cautiously.

"Huh. What was it like back then?"
Alucard approaches the stag, not sure what to expect.
"Indeed."

The beast lowers it's antlers, the tips gleaming in the starlight as they point towards the pair. It's eyes are the color of a summer's day, and it's coat shines with the warmth of sunlight. When the horns sound for a third time, seemingly impossibly close, it raises it's head once more and listens, body tense, before looking at the pair and cocking it's head slightly, eyes narrowing.

"I don't feel good about this. For whatever reason..."
Ashley stands still, anticipating something to be fired.

The stag bolts into the forest as the sound of hooves comes into astounding clarity, and the baying of hounds redoubles, cries of the Hunters, both human-like and un-, sounding behind the two. As they look behind them, a massive group of hunters on their own steeds, the group so varied it would be nigh-impossible to describe, closing on the two. Ahead of them race hounds, wolves, and dogs, baying and contesting for the right to be the first to the prey.

Standing against such a tide would be foolhardy...and Ashley finds the Void inaccessible to her here, which is strange for any number of reasons but that's not exactly important right now. Her intuition does tell her that to step off the path now would be Death, and not a quick or painless one at that.

Ashley runs farther down the path, dragging Alucard along.

Hakim is back in the Ryan household. Where he is all alone, since everyone else is at Icarus and Alice's wedding and he isn't invited. Not that he would come if he was invited, since he doesn't know them. Anyways, the point is that he's in limbo for now, at least until the wedding is over.


I have no clue what's going on with Dalia and Isaac anymore, honestly.

Sen is actually at the Ryan Household, due to not being able to teleport. She is sitting in the living room flipping through the pages of the spell book she got from the battle.

Having finished with maintenance on his suit, Hakim shuffles into the living room and takes a seat since he really has nothing better to do with his time. He gives a little nod to Sen as he does so, since she is the only other person in the room.

Alucard doesn't say anything as he's dragged along. He sprints with Ashley, his hand set on the massive sword on his back.

"Yeah, you can say that again... you were a nazi, right?"
Walpurga could probably remember Winry's retort about her infertility back at the party.
A very small girl with blue hair appears in front of Icarus with a purple swirl of teleportation magic.
  "I am afraid that Alucard is unable to attend the wedding right now... seems that him and Ashley would rather be in the Fae realms than be here at your special day... You won't be upset that they will be gone, right~?" she asks with a sweet smile.

Sen nods at Hakim but doesn't look up from the spell tome.

"Uh..." Hakim grunts, not sure if he should disturb Sen or not, since she might busy or not want to talk. They don't know each other after all, seeing as Hakim just showed up out of the blue recently.

((Also, Cirno Bartimaeus is too cute. Just so you know.))

The hunters pull up short at the entrance to the Forest, though their hounds do not. And the hounds are the faster of them, too.

The forest is dark, only bits and pieces of starlight breaking through the veil of trees overhead. Shadowy creatures, less terrifying than strange and almost cute, lurk at the edges of the path. But this is Twilight, and nothing is ever as it seems in the twilight.

One of the dogs, what looks to be a greyhound, if said greyhound were stretched through a taffy line and given eyes the color of burnished gold, catches up to the pair, and howls loudly as it nips at Alucard's boots. Thankfully, it's saliva isn't acid or anything like that, but it isn't helpful for speed, that's for sure...

((I prefer freeform combat, and since I doubt you lot will relish going up against a dozen 80-100 stat Faery Hounds, chase scene or no, I'm guessing you will too!))
