As Eliza exits the door, Bartimaeus attempts to sneak the tiniest piece of blue essence he can mold into her back pocket, by floating it in.

"Prof Z- Zeeger. Professor Zeeger. He works for MRPA and... It's a long story," Hakim says, looking slightly embarrassed about the entire thing. "But I'm not sent here to spy on you, if that is what you're wondering. It's... complicated."

 "Somebody is hiding something... I'll wait and see where she goes," Bartimaeus says as he sits down, still tracking the tracer essence he planted on Eliza.

tracking her through the void is more or less impossible, the time dilation lets Bartimaeus-tracer essence, which does not last long once seperated from him, quickly fade away, as weeks pass in the void

Bartimaeus phases into the void and searches for anything suspicious.

The void, vaster than the whole universe, which is already infinite, proves a pretty bad spot to start searching for anything. Like throwing a coin out of a car and killing hitler with it at random.

Hakim self-consciously runs a hand along his bare scalp, "Um... Thanks? I don't see what the shape of my skull has to do with being honest."

He decides to check out the domains, if he can locate them.

The domains are suspiciously empty. The few entities he runs across are only those of very low ranking, and actively try to evade him
