"Try this, maybe?"
Isaac takes off his gauntlet, and hands it to Dalia.
Dalia has temporarily received The Gauntlet of Focus!

[Kansa]

"Well shall we... we get started then?" Alice looked over to Isaac as he handed over the gauntlet "What is that?" she asked curiously.

[Projeck37]

"A family heirloom... It was the only thing my father left for me before he left my mother... well, that and a note. It helps control magic, in general."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Get started with what?" she replies to Alice while taking the gauntlet from Isaac. She doesn't put it on though, put looks it over in her hands, turning it this way and that to take in whatever details she can. "I remember you saying something about that," she replies, this time to Isaac. "Um... I don't think that I was entirely paying attention though..."

[Kansa]

Alice smiled,
"That should be useful then" she turned her gaze back towards Dalia "Start trying to find out how... how to control your powers."

[USEC_OFFICER]

She gives Alice a look, "I know how to control my powers and stuff. I just don't how know to stop them spraying everywhere like a leaky faucet. And before you ask, I've already tried doing the opposite of what I normally do to control them." Realizing that the last part sounded more harsh than she meant it to be, she quickly adds, "When I was younger they did a bunch of tests on me to see why I was doing this and if I could stop it. So... I dunno. I was hoping that you'd have something special to suggest, I guess. You guys seem much more smarter than the people who did all of those tests on me."

There's a constant line of engravings on the metal, as if telling some sort of story. It's similar to the way Egyptian hieroglyphics do, except they're obviously not Egyptian. Looking at them too long makes her feel a bit light headed. It seems to be made of a black colored steel, with a blue gem mounted on where the back of the hand touches.
"Well, that gauntlet should help from it going everywhere. Channel it through the glove."

[Kansa]

Alice thought for a moment,
"Well to... to start with I thought maybe we could experiment with emotions, to see if they had any effect on the controlling of your powers." she looked towards Isaac "It's a good idea to try the gauntlet as well"

[USEC_OFFICER]

Dalia thinks for a couple of moments, and then hands the gauntlet back to Isaac. "Let's try fiddling with my emotions first. I don't think that wearing that thing all the time would be very comfortable... Plus it is from your father, I don't want to just take it from you like that..." She shrugs and then looks at Alice. "So... What am I supposed to do? Shouldn't we have stuff or something to know if it's working?"

[Kansa]

Alice nodded,
"How do... do your powers normally leak out?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

She gives a noncommittal shrug, "I dunno. They just sorta do. If I knew how I probably would be able to stop them from leaking."

[Projeck37]

"I wouldn't mind letting you use it, whether for practice or for combat. It'd serve more use to you. It's not like you'd keep it forever."
Isaac shrugs.

[Kansa]

"I... I meant more what happens when they leak out. Do things just fall down around you? Or something like that"

[USEC_OFFICER]

Dalia gives Isaac the look this time. It's the very specific, 'don't be an idiot' kind of look. "I can control them just fine when in combat, and the leaking isn't too much. It's just that... It builds up, you know? So if I don't wear it all the time what's the point? Assuming that it even helps, of course. And..." She thinks for a brief moment before replying to Alice, "I suppose. Sorta. It's... Bad stuff happens when I'm around. Not too bad though, like milk spoilers faster near me or stuff breaks all of the sudden, or you can never find your keys when you need them... Things like that. Minor stuff, mostly... But they can turn really bad, and it's really obvious that it's all my fault since it just happens all of the time around me."

[Kansa]

Alice nodded slightly,
"We... We could probably see then if more bad stuff happens or less when you feel differently. We would need something to... to work off though probably. I... I think we should just wait for the moment until something bad happens" she paused for a moment "Do you know when your powers last leaked out?"
