He told me that they planned to exchange me for the seal and then sent me off to a... a room. He also instructed Carenheim to never leave my side, no matter what I did."
She paused for a moment and took a deep breath before continuing "I... I didn't really know what to do at first, they were treating me ok but with him following me I... I couldn't really do anything. The next day I met Sydney, she... she didn't really know what was going on with the LA. I think quite a few of their members are like that really. We got some drinks together and that's when we met Scottie. It turned out that he wasn't really sympathetic to... the the LA. So Me, Scottie and Sydney began to plan together to escape, we... we researched in the library of a way to summon Bartimaeus." she smiled slightly "It took a long while but we finally found the way. That's... That's when it got difficult, we needed a void artefact to get what we wanted but the only way we could get it was by breaking into the vault there. That also meant getting rid of... of Carenheim"
She let out a long deep sigh "Luckily we... we didn't have to kill him, we just banished him back to where he came from. I'm not really sure what happened to him though. At that point the alarms were set off so we had to run to get to the vault, using Sydney's powers we managed to break in and find what we needed. That's when the Bewitcher found us though, he... he tried to kill us but somehow I managed to use the power of the artefact to stop him. We only just managed to escape. Quickly we returned to Scottie and he... he managed to summon Bartimaeus."
"He... He didn't really want to help us at first but as there was no way out for him he agreed, he transformed into a dragon and broke through the ceiling. We then flew on his back and tried to escape. It... It was very close though we almost died at the end, Bartimaeus was going down and was too weak to teleport once we got outside of the field. I just managed to transfer the last of my mana to him and we just escaped." she smiled "That's when we came crashing down into... into the garden."
