 "Yeah. You can't just implant knowledge of fighting into a semi-sentient intelligence. It has to be trained like any other human, since the electronics that make the AI are quite similar to the neural makeup of the human brain. That's why the ICARUS Project was so big, because it was something we never did before."
Alucard and Bartimaeus teleport into Maria's living room.
 "Good news, Alucard's better! A bit," the human Bartimaeus says with a smile as he pushes Alucard towards everyone else. He seems extremely quiet, and just sort of stares at everyone else.

 "Uhm... sorry about that. Alice, could I see you in my lab for a bit? Privately?" he says, his voice quieter than usual.
