"Alright. It sounds like fun, I guess. Especially since you're paying," she replies half jokingly.

((Oh. Well... bugger all. I thought it'd be interesting at least. I was going to have registration and yell at people and a bunch of other stuff. Oh well...))

((Well, you can try, and I'll have SERT carry out the verdicts, but you can deal with the OOC business.))

"I guess I am. No more waiting for payday, I guess."

Kaiser starts beelining towards the place.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"We weren't exactly waiting for payday before," she says as she follows closely behind Kaiser. "Or at least I wasn't. Where were you getting your money before? Um... Do any of our friends actually work for a living? It just seems like everybody's around doing nothing, actually..."

((So... That's a yes then? I get to be a dick to everybody for good reasons?))

((Yep. Call on SERT to bludgeon people give out punishments. Not dealing with any fallout. Not one bit.))

"I think a few of them work, though not so much recently. I used to be a mechanic before this business happened... so I'm probably not getting paid, anyway.

Ah, here we are."

Kaiser pays for two tickets, as he should do, and leads Dalia into the park.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Huh. You used to be a mechanic? Really? I can't picture you as one... How old are you anyways? Don't you have to go through school for that sort of stuff?" Dalia thanks Kaiser for the ticket and follows him into the park. She is even polite and lets him pick the first ride they'll go on. Though she eyes a few rides for afterwards as they talk.

((Excellent. I'll have to send out some PMs about stuff first. Maybe make up an acroymn for the organization...))

"Uh, 17? 18? Possibly 19? I don't remember. I sorta got the job by fixing a car by 'accident', so they gave me a job."

Kaiser is more than happy to let Dalia pick out the rides, eyeing food stalls as they pass them.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Oh. That sounds... Really suspicious. Especially with how you fix things. Were they half-blind or just weren't in the room when you were fixing stuff?"

Seeing that Kaiser is eyeing the food stalls more than the rides, Dalia sighs and drags him in line for a rollercoaster. It's one of the bigger and more intense rollercoasters in the park too, and she obviously can't wait for their turn to arrive.

"I'm pretty sure they knew, they just didn't care."

Kaiser looks at the roller coaster nervously.

((The first thing I think when I see Kaiser and Dalia doing something is: "How can Bartimaeus ruin this?"))

"Like I said, really suspicious. What if you messed up and caused an accident or something?"

And then their turn arrives, and they're lead into the cars by a bored-looking attendant and strapped in. Or whatever you want to call those big poofy things that hold you down on your seat so that you don't go flying off and die horribly.

((Well, I'm sure he'll have plenty of opportunities here. And in other places too until they get involved into a plot and thus stop dicking around.))

Kaiser looks very unnerved.

"Fixing car bits is a cakewalk for me; you just need the car schematics and you're set."

The bored attendant looks at them boredly. She straps them into the cart next to each other, along with other people, and looks over the carts.
 "Keep your limbs inside of the cart at all times and enjoy your ride," she says with utter boredom in her voice before pulling the lever, causing the cart to accelerate.

"Yeah, but they didn't know that," she says. And then they can't really talk anymore, as the ride starts and they are too busy screaming and yelling to hold a conversation. Dalia seems to be enjoying herself immensely.

The attendant girl pulls the lever and sends a cloud of a black magic over it, destroying it.

Suddenly, their ride stops as they are upside down.

"Woo!-what."

Kaiser is not amused, as is everyone else on the ride.
