Osmodeus attempts to override the tanks, but fails - it seems that Icarus completely changed the override.

Bartimaeus teleports away.

Icarus slashes and deals no damage.

Walpurga telepunches and deals no damage.

Alice fires a bolt but misses.

Hilda wraps her arms around Hilda and changes into an exosuit. (12/16/10/0/30/20/20)
   "Be strong," Hilda says before handing Alice control over the armor. She can find that she can move even with her broken leg, as the armor is assisting her.

Isaac traps Osmodeus, since he can only cast 1 spell a round.

Garrett boosts Stella's speed. [-2 MP]

Suddenly, Alucard appears from a portal above Osmodeus with Swordimaeus in hand. He slashes down, but fails to cast a spell.
((And this is new stuff.))
[8 SKILL] VS [8-4 SPEED] The attack slashes down Osmodeus's back, dealing a massive 25 damage in combination with Bartimaeus's form!

UG-3 Crawler 1 fires a blast of plasma at Osmodeus twice!
[30 SKILL] VS [6-4 SPEED] It deals 7 damage!
[15 SKILL] VS [3-4 SPEED] It deals no damage.

UG-3 Crawler 2 fires a blast of plasma at Osmodeus twice!
[12] VS [11-4] It deals no damage.
[15] VS [3-4] It deals no damage.

UG-3 Crawler 3 fires a blast of plasma at Osmodeus twice!

Osmodius casts his medium spell, Paranoia. As a side effect, his Aura changes into an Aura of Paranoia.

Alice looked down at her body as Hilda encased it. As she felt strength return to her she rose back to her feet, her hand clenching into a fist as she did so.
"Thank you" she said quietly as she turned to face the demon, she began to run forwards. She shrugged off the paranoia as she got closer, these people were her friends. They wouldn't betray her. She directed the force of her charge into a single punch aimed at the king of hell's head

((is it just me, or is it nothing but PNs characters who keep dealing massive damage, while everyone else just flails about fruitlessly? GM etiquette PN, GM etiquette.))

ICARUS-05 continues the standard close-combat procedure, spending 4 mana to increase her strength by 50% (+8, +4 from weapon)

Walpurga, without any mana, just sends various rocks and debris against Osmodeus. She also does not react to the paranoia aura, because nobody specified what it even does.

((Basically the Paranoia spell makes everyone distrustful of each other. On machines, or more to the point of the AI inside of the machines, it scrambles the IFF signals and makes them target indiscriminately. In living people it "can" cause a target to see someone else as the enemy (For example Kyle would see Stella look like Osmodius.) and make them react accordingly. Unlike a few other spells in Osmodius' book, Paranoia does not make him look different. It is easy to resist, but can be dangerous if failed.

The Aura itself is a lesser version of the spell but always affects everyone equally. It doesn't mess with machines much, but can make them hesitate. People affected by it just become distrustful and will tend not to help each other. Doesn't affect combat otherwise.))

The same spell that causes people to be paranoid can not at the same time reprogramm machinery - that's two entirely different effects. Mind-controle is powerful, yes, but it has clear limitations. Neither the tanks, nor ICARUS-05 at the moment, are sentient, they have no mind that can be controled. Saying that they could would be like using mind-controle in Civ to make Ghandi drop nukes. Won't work. Ghandi drops nukes when the flowchart of predetermined actions based on the current turn of events. There is no trust or distrust.))

((It normally doesn't no. But Osmodeus does not use standard mind control. His listing in the Ars goetia says that he is demon of lust, a corrupter of desire, reasoning, and thought. Saying that they a machine is not sentient does not cut it. All Unmanned drones and tanks are either a) rigged with a combat AI which can make reasoned targeting protocols or b) is remote controlled from a different area, which means that a person or persons is controlling it. If you say that they have neither A. or B. then that means they are incapable of distinguishing Friend or Foe and would sooner fire upon whoever would be the most dangerous or who was the most opportune. This is PN's plot. It's his decision.

As irrelavant as the Ghandi using nukes is, I have seen him use them just because. Each Civ in Civ V has a predetermined Morale/Action chart.
He is literally programmed to only use Nukes as a last resort, yet I have seen him use them for the hell of it. He will even use it on his allies.))

((Ghandi using nukes so willingly is an old Civ 1 reference. Basically, he was the most peaceful leader in that game... except researching a certain tech made the AI leaders even more peaceful. At which point Ghandi's aggressiveness underflowed to the maximum possible value of... 254 or something like that. For reference, the next most aggressive AI was Stalin, at 12 aggressiveness.))
