You can see a lump through his shirt.

"Kaiser here is an experimental host for magically powered nanobots. His eye is a messy combination of biology and electronics, which also lets him control the nanobots into forming objects, including this plane. If it backfires though, there's a good chance one of his other body parts will get converted like his eye."

"Wait, you know everything about me? Who am I? Where am I from?"

"You're better off not knowing. Trust me on this."

"NOT GOOD ENOUGH! WHO AM I?"

No response. Kaiser's on the verge of tears.


"...I have to go find out what he's done."

Tom bolts out the door.

Joan frowns, but decides not to get into Tom's business.

Ester sighs and gives Kaiser a comforting hug, avoiding the lump as she pats his back. "There there, it's going to be okay. You shouldn't be crying, this is great. At least you finally have a chance to really figure out who you are, right?" She then turns to the intercom, "What's the problem with his eye?"

If Kyle were to look down, he would see a woman concealed by a black hood standing in front of what appears to be a grave.

Kyle notices and stops the castle.

He gets down and looks.

Dalia shrugs and follows him, being obviously bored.

Her face is scarred massively and dirty, and her hair is now much longer and her facial features are slightly older.

"It's a mess of wires and sensors. Should someone manage to take his nanocore away, his eye will be destroyed by uncontrolled nanobots. Not good."

Description: A formerly emotionless Selenite. An unusual creature currently assigned as the envoy to the former Northsdale Five via the vast Selenite hierarchy.

Appearance: An unnaturally tall and slender, fairly feminine figure. Skin the color of white porcelain, and her most notable feature, aside from her strange shape, is the fact that she has joints like a doll- mechanical-looking ball joints, every one of them. She has hair, but it seems faded out, a light blue that seems to vanish against the rest of her. Her eyes look dull and emotionless… most of the time, anyways. She wears something bikini-like that looks exactly the same as her skin. In any event, she doesn’t have any naughty bits to cover up, so it really doesn’t matter much. She does, however, have more recognizable leather boots, which are actually a normal color. An enormous sniper rifle is constantly strapped to her back- a modern-looking, bolt-action weapon with a hefty scope and a large rectangular bit at the end of the barrel, decorated with flame symbols. Sometimes, she wears a dark-blue-colored duster to hide herself or just for decency.

Equipment:  Manarifle, used for her magic and such. A bolt-action specimen that can only fire once per round, but expect whatever it fires to be powerful. May or may not act as a Magic bonus, depending on what I feel like and what Smurfy says.

Perks:

Revival: Unless killed with specific means, Asuna will repair her unconscious body or what remains of it and then come back to life. Eventually. It takes long enough to not be a massive deal.

Double-Jointed: Her ball joints give her an unnatural freedom of movement, and she can also perform pretty impressive acrobatics.

Disadvantages:

Pressurized: If Asuna takes puncture damage, she starts losing whatever eldritch force sustains her at an incredible rate, like a popped balloon.  She needs to spend the next round bandaging herself or she will 'die' instantly.

Memorable: Self-explanatory.

Ability: Various rifle shots. I'll work on it later, I swear.

Dalia stares at Lizzie's face for several seconds and then tactfully says, "Wow. What happened to you?"

Kaiser sniffles.

"It's a mess of wires and sensors. Should someone manage to take his nanocore away, his eye will be destroyed by uncontrolled nanobots. Not good."

"Oh, geez. And you're his nanocore, right? So if you two get separated...?"

A small magic circle inscribed with a crescent moon appears beneath Ester's feet.

Ester sighs and drags Kaiser away from the circle to give it its space.
