Nevermind that, let's talk about the plane. It can fly up to Mach 4, it has a VTOL system, retractable wings and tail fins, a good amount of living space, and twelve 20mm gatling cannons for anti-air defence.

He shows Ester through all the rooms, and shows off the gun battery and the engine room in particular.

"Hahahaha, suuure. Ah, his name is Kaiser. He can get up to mischief sometimes."

Ester giggles, "Yeah, it's pretty neat. So what are you planning to do with it besides freak everyone out?"

An intercom turns on.

"Ah, you're awake."

"Ah, and I thought my luck was coming up. GO AWAY!

...Wait, wasn't that an outside my head voice?"

Ester shakes her head, "Nope. Not at all. I guess he's usually a thought or something?" she says, indicating the intercom.

"Well, this one time he made a sword... No idea how he managed that."

Tom looks at the plane.

"U-usually."

"Hello Ester, I am the Nanocore. WHAT I transferred myself into this plane's computational systems when Kaiser here was building it. Feel free to just call me Core. Or Corey. I'm an open book on this stuff."

Kaiser falls down on a sofa.

"S-so you're this thing," He points to his back]"Huh."

"So... I guess you're a bunch of nanomachines, right? Is this the part where you talk about your life story or do we have to defeat you first?" She glances at Kaiser's back to see exactly what he's pointing at.
