"Nice to see you again."

"Yeah... You all probably thought I was dead, huh? Me just disappearing like that..."

"I don't think I'm one to talk about suddenly disappearing."

"Oh, you know what I mean. You know that whole deal with downtown Paris that happened after I left? That might've been me..."

"Oh... why?"

"Well, you know how that CEO turned crazy after he used that needle and stuff? Well, that was Not!Ashley... Once you guys killed him, she was sent into the void. That afternoon, I was in that plaza, and she... shot something at me. It was probably a mordite bullet or something... We fought, she won, but left me in the void with all my limbs hacked off, in Void's living room... that made me desperate enough to accept killing as a thing that'll be necessary at times. That's why I'm even still here, oddly enough..."

Kyle listens through the story and then at the end hugs her with one arm.

Ashley just sips her wine, hugging back with one arm.

Kyle lets go and then takes a sip of his wine.
"I'm sorry you had to go through that."

"Have I ever told you what my greatest fear is...?"

"I do not recall."
Kyle says with a shake of his head.

"Her."

[kj1225]

Kyle nods.
"Who is her?"

[Projeck37]

"Not!Ashley."

[kj1225]

Kyle nods.
"Ah. That sucks."
