Dalia slowly shakes her head, "No... How did you meet?"

[Kansa]

"Me and Icarus met when I was sixteen. At... At that time my powers were not the same." Alice took in a deep breath "Instead of healing things, I... I rotted them. Anything I would touch would decay even... even people" she paused for a moment as she tried to compose herself. "Icarus helped me with that, she... she managed to save me from that. She helped fix me and she managed to take away my powers.I don't know what I would have done if it wasn't for her..." she trailed off "I... I know how it feels to not be able to control your powers and I know it can gets better. The scars will never be truly gone but with some help they can start to heal. Don't give up"

[USEC_OFFICER]

Dalia is silent for a couple seconds, and then finally asks, "And how did she help you?"

[Kansa]

Alice shifted her feet slightly
"First she helped me to try and control it, that worked ok. But then she found the source of my powers and killed him"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Well maybe that won't work for me. I've been trying to control them since forever, and I don't think somebody dying would magically help me either."

[Kansa]

"It might not work for you, its worth trying though."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Yeah, but it's not like we have a place to start."

[Kansa]

Alice thought for a moment
"Well when me and Icarus first started working on it, we... we tried different emotions."

[USEC_OFFICER]

Dalia sighs, "No offense, but that sounds really stupid. Really, really stupid."

[Kansa]

Alice blushed slightly
"It... It did actually work in some ways"

[USEC_OFFICER]

Dalia doesn't seem to notice the blush. Probably because she's staring at her feet instead. "Yeah? How?"

[Kansa]

"Well... Well different emotions caused my powers to change their strength"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Oh. I guess it's worth a shot..."

[Kansa]

Alice nodded
"It would be, we could try it once we all get back. If... If you want."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Okay..." Dalia replies, without much conviction in her voice.
