Kaotaro glances up from where she was working on a stove, wearing oven mitts for everything. Where the stove came from wasn't completely clear. She was trying not to touch the stove directly, that was much was obvious from the oven mitts. Though it didn't help with the potatoes she was cooking.

"Oh...you know. Going." she said absently. "Do you guys have any pepper?"

"I-in the t-top right c-cupboard."

Kaiser looks over the kitchen.

Fetching it, head moving slightly as if to a rhythm no one else could hear, she talked to him.

"Anything interesting happen while I was cooking?"

Kaiser remembers. Oh god.

"N-no, n-nothing of interest. W-what are y-you making?"

"Hashbrowns. Eggs, after. How do you like yours? Oh, and could you ask everyone else if they want any?"

Kaiser's golden eye sparkles.

"Hash browns... Oh, u-uh, I l-like eggs...um, s-sunny side up."

Kaiser yells back inside the Ryan household.

"Who w-wants hash browns a-and eggs?"

"I wouldn't mind some," Dalia says, naturally wandering into the Nomad to see who's cooking.

She'd see Kaotaro in the kitchen.

"Okay t-then. H-how do you l-like your e-eggs?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Scrambled. Especially with hash browns. I'd rather make my own though, you'd probably wouldn't make them the way I want." She doesn't wait for a reply, protest or any other response, but slips in besides Kaotaro and starts searching for another pan to get cooking.

"W-well, okay t-then..."

Kaiser starts running maintenance on the Nomad, not knowing why he felt uneasy.

"Hello! Makin' breakfast."

Kaotaro smiles briefly at Dalia before returning to the difficult task of keeping the potatoes from burning while wearing oven mitts. An array of to-be-prepared food is laid out around near her in the kitchen.

She frowns as Dalia begins cooking as well, not exactly pleased with the invasion of space.

"They require something specific, then? I didn't think scrambled eggs were all that difficult to make..." she says anyway, in a conversational tone.

Selina is resigned that there are going to be a lot of people in the house for a bit, takes a cookie, and sits in a chair in the corner to work on some sketch work to get back into her job.

Kaiser is messing around with some large black slabs of metal.

"I w-wouldn't k-know, I s-still can't c-cook..."
