Kaiser walks back inside, making a face at Sen, and goes to look at the cookie pallet.

"C'mon, Kaiser, resist the cookies..."

Sen walks back up to her room to clean up the blood from her nose. Kyle's Genderbender Artifact has secretly disappeared.

Of course Kaiser broke it so it can't be used anymore, but whatever. Dalia shrugs and grabs a couple of cookies before heading to the living room to veg out. Or at least until the next exciting event of the day happens.

Kyle watches her go up the stairs before shrugging and going to watch the news.
About three minutes later he suddenly flies off with a noise like an excited child.

Bartimaeus teleports on Sen's shoulder, as a small hummingbird.

"What was that about?" she yells out at Kyle's retreating backside.

If she checked the news it's a story about a mysterious castle that appeared in the desert.

"Oh. So that thing finally arrived then?" Obviously she's saying that rhetorically, as she doesn't get up to follow Kyle or direct her question at anyone in particular.
