Bartimaeus is answered back with a screech as each and every wraith looks directly at him.

Michael jumps, startled, his eyes growing brightly now.

His eyes dart around rapidly

 "I am Bartimaeus of Lolgrammoth, thee who spoke with Solomon, constructed the Walls of Prague and thee who battled Selkihm of Targunitoth! Where is your master? Speak!" he bellows out, getting the obligatory introduction out of the way.

Michael is rather alarmed, considering the booming voice plus his mental issues, so he crouches behind a short wall and fishes through his backpack

[Sanure]

Another screech in response to Bartimaeus's question. The wraiths continue to look at him. The fact they aren't moving is... dreadful.

"Hey honey, how was your day so far" Her voice sounded strained

"Some good, some bad. How about you? Something bothering you?"
Will starts making something for Stella to drink. Tea if she likes it, some other favored calming beverage if not.

Good last I heard. Um... Anything new with you?

Not really. Math test today.

Bartimaeus shapeshifts into an even larger mass of shadows with glowing red eyes. His voice now speaks with a hint of sadness in it:

"Shade... please."

[Sanure]

A third screech. Bartimaeus could have swore he heard the sobbing of a girl just now. The wraiths return to wandering.

[Again_Dejavu]

Michael hesitates, then pulls out a camera. It can record video and audio in high quality. He presses the little red button and points the camera in the city's general direction

[Sanure]

Unless Micheal was to put the camera inside of the zone, he would see the same thing as his eyes. The audio of course was recorded successfully.

 "Shade... It's me. Bartimaeus," he says as he begins to gently fly through the city.

Oh, I hope you do well! Uh... do you want to spend some time drawing after school?

[Sanure]

No reply. It seems that what ever was screeching has stopped for now.

Bartimaeus flies forward some more.

 "...How did he die?" he asks.
