The man turns towards her seeming to have had his interest in the news lost. He starts walking over his gait bearing a regal air with it. As if he was a noble in a past life.

Thump. Another jitter. Mary begins walking with ever so slightly more urgency, it seems that option 1 may have been more accurate after all and she did not intend to have to deal with a salesperson trying to sell her godknowswhat. Thump. Again, what on earth was Apollo doing? He should know not to do that in public! With a quiet sigh, Mary spins upon her heel and faces the salesman, better to be irritated than to seem suspicious, especially with Apollo acting up...

"The shooting range is close enough to walk"

Stella heads off in the direction of it

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

The man stops for a moment and looks at her bag. He seems to be thinking of what he wants to say. After a few seconds he speaks.
"Do you know where a seamster is?"
His coice carries an accent she wouldn't expect. It's Irish. If she looks closely she's able to tell that there is a very real looking sword on his belt.

"No, sorry, but I can search for one if you wish."
Whipping out her phone without even waiting for a reply, Mary begins typing in a search. Thump. She halts and glances around, trying to see whether or not there were other people nearby.

Garrett follows close behind, still a bit scared of cars.

Nevlyn looks confused at the phone. His eyes are drawn to the thump again. Luckily, the people of Northsdale have learned to stop caring about wierd things a while ago and don't pay much attention.

"I've b-been... o-okay..."

Kaiser tries to cover up his metal arm.

Garrett is practicing with his crossbow outside, since Stella said no guns.
"Your arm?"

((Fuck. I really didn't think this through seeing as I now how to make something appear cute. If I end up describing some sort of dimensional aberration whose very existence drives mortal minds past even the furthermost limits for which the definition of insanity holds, then I apologize, I merely intended to describe a cute bunny-like critter.))

Thump. "Sorry, give me a minute please."
Mary half unzips her bag to reveal a few textbooks before something quickly darts on top of the stack though still remaining mostly concealed.

Its gelatinous body possessed a light and fluffy consistency, not unlike that of an aero-gel, albeit actually living up that gel aspect. The majority of its mass as concentrated in a vaguely hemispherical mass where upon its large mouth and similarly proportioned pair of eyes rest. Stemming off of its 'body' are a large of seemingly stylized and rather elongated rabbit ears which seem to wave and rotate around curiously like a peculiar set of antennae. Its similarly Leporidae-esque tail is even more bizarre, seemingly hovering behind it with no visible connections aside from a magical circle of soft pink coloration.

"What?" Mary hisses, with mild displeasure.
An oddly baritone voice replies.
"That guy? The one in front of you?" Its long ears bend halfway, pointing towards Nevlyn. "He was involved in that attack on the Ryan household. I saw him in the background of one of the videos of it, he was deploying some kind of defensive emplacement on the roof."

"Oh... so you are a magic user after all." Mildly surprised, Mary finishes the search and displays the screen of her phone to Nevyln

Nevlyn looks between the woman and the 'rabbit' for a few minutes before looking at Mary pointing to the gel.
"Yes um... why do you have a bunny slime in your bag?"

((I just imagine the ones from EBF 4 that heal your party.))

Kaiser reluctantly reveals it, looking at the ground.

"Ah, i-it's nothing, j-just... I sort of l-lost my a-arm... and m-my leg. I-I..."

He seems reluctant to say much more.

"Not such a fan of 'cars'..."

((It's partially based off of that, along with other images I found online.))

"Er... right, that, well you see, Apollo here is my companion."
"It's Apollonius, I'm not a cat. I also keep her powers in check, otherwise she might transform without wanting to."

Nevlyn nods.
"I am Nevlyn. I can make totems that allow me to use magic."
He holds out a hand to each of them.
