Also, isn't Marquis Andras, the polite and friendly associate of Anima, who happens to act as a police officer, the sower of discord who is well-known for killing summoners and all their associates if they make any mistake in their containment protocols? Does he actually arrest people? Or do criminals just end up washing up dead on a beach somewhere?))

The girl grabs the weapon with one hand, and pegs it at Barti. It weighs about 80kg, so it doesn't hit softly.

Bartimaeus grabs it. He teleports them back and puts the gun on the couch.

His eye starts glowing. Oh god, it's him.

Kaotaro waves a hand, trying to clear away the fog of memory distorting her words, spine tingling as the thing that lived with her thought it perceived danger...but from who? This...this couldn't be him. It couldn't be. It was impossible!
