Whelp, I am currently trying to figure out how to handle Ashley using a portal-based attack with the lore I've given both her and Alucard, trying to decide whether I should buff the thing from 120 to 140 now that I realized the two of them are 120 stat base(I think), and trying to decide whether to wait on smurf to make a map for me to use or just say fuck it and do the fight as is.

Also trying to figure out how to get the RL motivation and IC reason/way to get my characters involved in the game again.

Not portal based.
She's just propelling it with void magic.
And as you said yourself, void magic works here. Just not teleportation.

Emphasis mine. That's what I'm wondering about.

I also don't really have any idea what damage it does, and particularly confused about whether it deals strength or magic damage, and why it scales off her higher strength for damage but doesn't cost any extra compared to equivalently tiered spell, and that's before wondering if I should even bother with TNs.

I don't exactly remember promising to make maps, but either way I've got uni paperwork and a photo shoot to worry about for now. Maybe later.

Same reason the gods haven't just up and destroyed the sultanas yet :P

But in all seriousness, most of the member countries were either war-torn shitholes before magic came along and made the situation far, far worse. Murder Knight 'invited' them to join her empire, using political manipulation, bribery, blackmail, assassinations, spywork, and threats of brute force to ease the member countries into the deal.

The UN had enough on its plate during the chaos, and as the empire is more or less stable, they can't do jack shit about it now, although several organisations are indirectly attacking the country.

Ugh..... I think I finally finished Statting up all of my enemies and getting the encounters made.... Just need to make maps and my plot is ready for when it's my turn.

Well, Kyle does have some resistance to void powers anyways.
