btw, marylin, ice-themed weapon and armor name, no ice-powers but just copying Icarus. I disapprove
If you look at the picture, her weapon is a giant blade. I use that as an excuse to be able to buff Str, Skl, and Spd like Icarus (too lazy to make an actual good system). She can use ice magic, seeing as that's her actual magic.

Bed time for me. I'll do more Sen wise when I get up. Then I shall work on Sub-bosses for my plot, then me and USEC shall work on Buffing Fredericka.

Yeah, mostly. But there's no scenario where voidbeings are trying to do good on their own. The legal bits are the public stuff though. Arresting things are the private bits.

The problem is your thinking in terms of just tech. IRIS uses magitek extensively. So they could, say, teleport in the squad instead of flying them in. And if teleporting in people to fight something that's wholly unrelated to Iran is going to cause an international incident then it's going to happen anyways.

The problem is your thinking in terms of just tech. IRIS uses magitek extensively. So they could, say, teleport in the squad instead of flying them in. Teleportation takes time to set up, unless you have a guy who can teleport people with their magic. And if you don't then you have to set up magic circles and junk...

At the very least, it'll take IRIS 5+ minutes to get there, since they'd have to head back to base to use their circles.

I'd at least like to not have the action my character takes to be completely invalidated by something that seems to have been pulled out of one's rear.

though I argue that I'd prefer that characters action are not calling their super rich daddy to carpet bomb the enemy with their private army that is ready for action after a simple call that was like two sentences long and chase the enemy to the end of the world.

I think it's fully appropriate when it's dealing with the sultanes. After all, they're trying to destroy the world. Overwhelming firepower should be used when possible.
