Still fleshing out Alucard's paradox system. Basically, the more spells he casts, the more uncontrollable they become. Casting too much may cause strange happenings in an area, etc.

at any rate, since it has been voted to have 3 plots at the same time at max, and since I will have a rare week of vacation next week, I'll start my plot there I guess

yeah, but unlike Sen, he doesn't even have a justification to just suddenly pop entirely new kinds of magic out of nowhere.

thats sort of a weak excuse to just splat new powers on a char. I have been holding off the HYDRA for ages now, laying the foundations for havingf it way in the past, and it still takes a plot to get it on screen, and that will be the only power upgrade Icarus will receive in a long long while, meanwhile new stuff just pops up on charsheets from nowhere.

I'll make the HYDRA body much stronger than I planned it to be, fairness and trying to hold back is gaining me nothing

Hey, I'm planning on giving Spensir new powers when he levels up.

Mabarius regaining his true strength and all that good stuff. The Chosen One of a God fulfilling his destiny or something.

Let me put it this way;

I find all this complaining about 'well I don't get to do that!' to be utter bullshit. Stop fucking power-gaming, people, and maybe we could make a plot that wasn't a sack of shit because of rules arguments and bullshit balance whining.

for now, why not plan to play Spensir again? I feel I havent seen him in ages.

also, maybe I should at some point write down Icarus combat manouvers in her sheet. I mean they do more than just the standard attack damage, and are basicaly the meat and bones of a real melee fighter. Afterall combat manouvers were at least in the past my reason why I thought melee was good.
