No, the problem with the v2 ruleset was that the stats weren't really... balanced. Especially with the dice rolls. Having more stat points per level up shouldn't be too unbalancing, unless we go overboard with them.

Eh... I don't mind min-maxing too much in this system. Mostly because all of the stats are generally useful and need to be invested in.

Because Strength is pretty useless right now, compared to just boosting Magic to huge levels instead.

Still think Strength should give a point of HP.

Um... Strength is used for every non-magical attack. I don't know what you're smoking but that's a lot.
