I think Projeck has the lore on void based teleportation. As far as avoiding divine ganks, I think I already gave you some heads up regarding that. The upcoming plot will also offer partial explanations as to how they stay in creation for extended periods of time without dissolving

Void teleportation is basically hopping between Creation and Void. Since time in the void moves so much faster, it appears to be done instantaneously. This is why tele-striking is so easy for Ashley, even if a great distance is between the target and her.

not all teleportation is necessarily void-based. Else, Bartimaeus could not teleport either, nor would Alucards portals work

Since void is their primary, they can't use creation, and I assume all Twilight teleportation is granted by a Twilight being, since the sultanes can't dimension hop. I'm not too sure what the sultanes would have to offer the twilight beings, since they rule a dimension of nothingness.

Uh, how are they teleporting? Alucard and Bartimaeus are part Creation, so they can weasel their way through that gap, I guess.

by teleporting their flesh suits. When in creation, every void being, be it bartimaeus or a sultane, needs a body to inhabit. This is the primary factor of what summoning spells do, and what keeps them limited from their true form. I believe I already mentioned to you that the sultanes can not actually summon their own minions, and thus are already recruiting and teaching tons of summoners all around. These bodies can be teleported, dragging the inhabitant right along with it.

All of which is technicaly spoilers to be learned way later as possible weakpoints for various plans, but nooo, you always need to know everything immediatly or call me out for cheating

It was more general interest, but whatever. If you want to keep it secrets that badly, just PM me the information. I'm not going to take advantage of the information in-game, I'm a better player and GM than that.

Why doesn't only the body get teleported, leaving the sultane's spirit/essence/potato/ethereal form behind? Wouldn't it react violently when being forced through a vortex of basically antimatter, meat shell or no? Summoning is one thing, but moving that summon around gets messy fast.

On a side note, what are they telling those summoners? 'Work for us, and we'll destroy not only you, but everything you love?'

different summoners, different motivations, mostly promises of power. Most are entirely unaware of the sultanes true goals. When someone catches wind of it, they just play to the summoners arrogance and feeling of self-importance. "Whoops, you caught us, blah blah blah, we can need smart ones like you, blah blah blah, vague promises about what happens *after* the world is destroyed, new worlds, blah blah, promises of being the rulers of the new worlds, blah blah"

but most of their summoners only gain the power and knowledge on how to summon through the soul pact anyway, which eventually errodes a persons personality until it turns to the sultanes liking, and motivations no longer matter. All they need is conscent at the very start, without it, they can not mark a soul, but once the mark is placed, all they need is time.

again others dont even have a real choice. when you are gravely wounded or sick, and someone tells you they can cure you if you work for them, many chose to delay the inevitable.

Also, theres a reason why info in OOC stays in OOC: A player may know that a boss's weakness is, but the character doesn't unless he/she learns it IC. Otherwise you can call meta and have them retcon their entire meta actions. It's what being a GM is partly about. Also, I think Smurf was wanting you to only spoil him, since he is the OverGM, but i could be wrong. I just woke up and am still sleepy so meh.

I bet at least 4 of you are planning to nuke something, with conventional bombs or otherwise. I don't want to simulate the breakdown of a global economy (I lie I really do but like half the cast would probably starve).
