note that I am aware of initiative, and note that I am entirely willing to ignore that if a wounded character is trying to make an escape. As I said unless there are very heavy reasons an enemy would want to stop a PC from escaping, they will not pursue, so the players have the chance to keep them alife.

As far as dismemberment or imprisonment goes, that is not holding a grudge, that is an alternative I offered to death. As in "During combat your health went to -12 (currently Sens insta-death treshold, so you'd normaly die, but because you do not want to die, you lose an arm instead". Because sure, people can demand not to be killed, but there will be consequences if they think themselves immortal during combat and overextend.

Just use it. But don't try to save your maps with full resolution, because they will take eons to render and save (plus they're fucking huge).
