That would probably depend on what kind of magic the unit is powered by. I would imagine that considering how bloody complicated the control systems for a single-person operated one would probably be, some sort of mind reading apparatus may be used to simplify the process, in which case there may indeed be a fair chance that "the box listens to whoever is talking the loudest". Of course, if the giant artillery piece hasn't actually destroyed the person attempting to hijack it in that manner, it may not be something anyone would want to hijack.

It depends on how good the driver is at not getting invaded doesn't it? And if you're just sneaking it off an army base you probably have the keys...

I suppose, though it would probably have to be a counter-hijack then seeing as most military organizations would put someone actually competent and with a lot of willpower behind the controls of an artillery piece that may be hijacked through willpower.

Or they get ambushed. Though I would imagine it would require a lot of willpower and/or magical assistance. Or a rather tired operator.

GM's discretion then, depending on technical specifications. Though personally, if someone wants to run up to a walking anti-infantry emplacement, try to force it's trained driver out and hijack it, I'd say it's fair game so long as they pass the rolls. Not too sure what the hijack roll would be though.
